2009 Ford Fusion SE or 2005 Cadillac CTS?
About to buy my first car, and kinda split between the two. Both are priced at $10,995. The Caddy has 66,000 miles and is a V6 whereas the Fusion has 51,000 miles and is a V4. One thing I like about the Fusion is that it has the blue cloth interior… But the Caddy is a V6 lol. I've read that Cadillac's start to have a lot of problems at about 80-90k miles and I'm looking for a car to last me a while. In addition to the cons of the Caddy I wouldn't really want to send it to a GMC dealer ever time there was an issue. Just wanted to get some opinions thanks.
The Fusion is the obvious choice. Newer, less mileage, and a more efficient engine.
Caddys are just not good cars.
The Ford by a mile
Apart from being newer/less miles, it's also much cheaper to repair and maintain and much better built.
Cadillacs are money pits
- Cadillac(GM) is building an ATS-V. What about you, Lincoln (F)? Planning on building a rival? I recommend building a 365-hp, 3.5L Ford Taurus SHO V6-powered, all-wheel-drive MKZ SVT to take on Cadillac's new 420-hp, rear-drive ATS-V. The ATS-V would also be a V6, but it's gonna be a 3.6. If the MKZ sells better in terms of monthly sales than the ATS the MKZ SVT should be it! Expect a mid-four-second 0-60-mph time, $55,000+ price tag, and good fuel economy (18+ mpg in the city, 24+ on the highway).
- Doge vs Ford vs Cadillac vs Chrysler? I've recently come into some money and I'm able to buy either a 2005 Mustang, 2005 Cadillac cts, or a 2005 doge challenger, or a 2005 Chrysler 300. They all cost around the same price. But in your opinion what's the better car? I live in Michigan so weather is a concern.
- How to supe up a Ford Fusion style 2009? I've just purchased a Ford Fusion and would like to increase bhp, pretty much make it a sleeper. How would one go about it?
- 12v outlet (cigarette lighter) in my 2009 Ford Fusion seems to have come loose. How can I fix this? There's still power coming to it, if I hold my phone charger in a certain angle it will work, but I can't constantly hold the charger while I'm driving.
