12v outlet (cigarette lighter) in my 2009 Ford Fusion seems to have come loose. How can I fix this?
There's still power coming to it, if I hold my phone charger in a certain angle it will work, but I can't constantly hold the charger while I'm driving.
You replace it or the charger plug.
It screws on from behind. Go behind the socket and tighten it up.
It's going to short out soon if it's loose. Remove the dash parts or console to get to the retainer nut on the back of the socket.
- What's going on with my cigarette lighter in my Ford Taurus? When I try to plug in a phone charger, it works but I have to play around with the wire because the connection seems weak. I thought it might've been a fuse, but I tried putting a cigarette lighter in and it was hot. What can it be?

- Stuck Ford Focus Cigarette Lighter? So my ford focus has a Stuck cigarette lighter. I've pulled out the panels behind the 2006 (i think) and I have the panel with the lighter in it (unplugged ofc) Now I'm wondering how I can get this out, I've tried prying it, But it's stuck to the point where it's fully plunged in. -Any ideas?
