2015 Ford Fusion Bad Smell?

I have a 2015 Ford Fusion. I got it almost brand new. It was used as a fleet vehicle. Anyway, I didn't realize whoever used it for the first 20 some thousand miles smoked in it until after I used it for a couple days. I could see smoke residue on the roof interior of the car. So I scrubbed that out. That took most of the smell out. But every now and then I smell a weird smell coming out of the vents. The air filter is clean. Would the cabin filter have any affect on the smell from the vents? Or is the smell coming from somewhere else? I will scrub the roof interior again, but any suggestions to get the whole system smelling fresh and new again would be helpful.

Trading in a car that is financed?

I have a 2014 ford fusion se. I still owe 17k on it. I have financing through ford credit and would like to trade it in to buy a ford f150. Do you think ford would be willing to terminate my loan on the fusion and allow me to finance a new f150?

Which car should I choose? - 1

I have a budget of approximately 25k-35k. Unfortunately my parents won't accept a used car, therefore, it has to be a current 2016 model. What I'm looking for in car is a really nice interior, decent tech options, and somewhat of sporty exterior. Despite this is being my car, it will sometimes be used my family as well. So I will not be getting a manual transmission. I'm looking for a car that stands out, but also has good reliability (as in it won't drain money just from constant maintenance). Feel free to put two options!

Ford Fusion Energi Titanium (Ford website shows this build as ~$30,000 - However I'm not sure if this is including the additional Plug-In Electric Drive Vehicle Credit of $4,007)

Mazda Mx-5 Miata GT (~$31,200 - Gorgeous car, but I have never driven a convertible or car smaller than a midsize not sure what my reaction will be once I test drive it)

Ford Mustang EcoBoost (~$34,500 - Red line interior, Magnetic exterior, & equipped with performance package - I know I know, I used to think it was slightly douchey, but honestly this is one beautiful car)

Honda Accord EX-L V6 Coupe ($34,700 - It's a nice car, but I'm not really a fan of how it looks and it feels like everyone already has an accord. It could be awesome, I've never test driven it)

Mazda6 GT (~$34,000 Same as Mazda Mx-5 Miata but would be convenient as a mid-size car)

BMW 228i Coupe (~$32,850 Beautiful and sort of beats the Cadillac on price)

Acceleration: 4 cylinder vs V6?

Could you please tell me if there are any 4 cylinder cars that have acceleration that is equivalent to that of a 3.8 V6? Both off the line and on the highway?

I want to buy a newer (2014-2016) but most are only available with 4 cylinders.

Until 2 years ago, I only drove V6's, then I bought a Ford Fusion with a 4 cylinder engine and the lack of pep is driving me absolutely bonkers!

I would like a mid to full size, 4 door sedan, that has a very solid/heavy feel to it. I don't care about communications options, back up camera, navigation or leather. But would like remote start, sunroof and a nice-sounding stereo system. I don't want to spend over $25,000. Any suggestions?
