Cars that are good for potholes?

I admit I'm not the worlds best driver just average cabbage. No accidents, or tickets. But my streets in my city are deplorable. I've tried my best to not damage my car on them but I have busted a tire within the last year. I'm afraid something else might break because lets face it a Ford Focus isn't made for off roading. Is there a car with heavy duty tires or suspensions?

Added (1). I'm not off roading my car I'm just comparing the street to rough terrain

Is a Ford Focus SE 2007 a good, reliable car? Thinking of buying one?

I'm 18, currently looking to buy a first car. My limit is $6,500. Anyway, I came across a 2007 Ford Focus SE, and Wanted to know if it's generally a good car. It only has 75,000 miles which isn't TOO bad. It's $5,800 and it's being sold by a trusted local dealer. Checked the Carfax, it technically has had 2 previous owners (really only 1, the original owner was the father and he gave it to his daughter). I ll definitely go and check it out in person, but wanted to see the opinions of other people

Added (1). Also, I know it's not some amazing luxury car, it's simple, and that's all I want for my first car anyway. I want a car that will get me safely from point a to point b, and won't break down on me. I'm not looking for the "coolest" car, it just has to be reliable

Issue with Car Boot - Ford Focus 2007?

Issue with Car Boot - Ford Focus 2007?

Added (1). I've been having an issue with my car boot over the past month or two. While I'm driving the lock of the boot seems to come open. In some cases, it kinda half opens, where the car will tell me the boot is open, but a part of the lock is still secure and some of the times the boot just completely opens, but the springs keep it down.

Added (2). I've had a mechanic look at this and he took of the manual opening switch to see if there was a problem with the switch. But this still happens and even he seems baffled. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

Snapped ground connection on my car?

So I was trying to clean the main ground connection which goes from the battery straight to the chassis. The connection and bolt was all rusty and I was going to clean the connection but accidentally snapped off the head of the bolt. So now rest of the bolt is still in and I can't get it out. What can be the solution? Can I just drill a new hole in the chassis and make the connection in other place?

Car is Ford Focus LX mk1 1.6 petrol 2004

Is it safe to tow using a 2013 ford focus?

I will be driving across the country with a small trailer that will be filled with a bed, bed frame, and some boxes and I'm wondering if it is safe to use my 2013 Ford Focus SE (I still would have to get a hitch for it.)
