I have a 1993 Ford F150 and when i turn key i just hear a click. What is the problem? - 1
It's an old truck and still needs work. My dad said that it is cold- natured. To start it you need to gas it. It will start 50 percent of the time but recently it's like 10 percent of the time. When you first try to start it you need to get it right because if you don't it won't start no matter how much you try so you have to wait a while before your next try. What needs to be done so that when you start it, it will start right away without gassing it.
Also when it does start. I have to wait for it to wind down, my dad said for the governor to kick in. Will it always be like that or can something be done so when I start it I can go immediatly.
Added (1). The battery and spark plugs are both new, spark plugs were just put in there as it came in the box, not adjusted because we didn't have the tool for it at the time, we do now tho but haven't yet. When it first idles it sounds like it sputters a little until it idles down. What do you mean by misfire?

I have another one that is my beater so the nice one sits a few days at a time my concern is fire I don't want this truck to ever break and would like serious answers iv owned this vehicle for 3 years so i'm positive how much I like it, thanks
Is the pickup bed on a 2008 ford f150 crew cab the same size as the 2010 ford f150 crew cab?
Will a tonneau cover from a 2008 fford f150 crewcab fit on as 2010 ford f150 crew cab. Both have short beds?
The previous owner of the neighboring business property has allowed me to park vehicles on a small patch of gravel beside my garage for the past 10+ years. Just yesterday the property was sold (i was not aware or notified of this). This morning i find a citation on both of the vehicles i had there, the offence was parking on privet property. Both vehicles are not running currently running but i called my cousin to come and get them moved for me. Not even 2 hours after i found the citation and before i got them moved the one was towed and they came back for the other, i was able to get them to leave the truck my. While i was talking to the tow truck driver he told me that legally they should have warned me before getting citations and towing because the vehicles were on that property before it was bought it and the new owner did not post privet property signs or no parking signs. Should I try to fight this?
Added (1). I'm in Pennsylvania, by the way.
Added (2). The truck (the one i was able to persuade the tow truck driver to leave) is a 1987 ford f150, I was offered up to $5,000 for it before i decided to try to sell it, should've took the deal because thats plenty more then what its worth. The car however is a 2007 chevy Malibu classic and was the first car I bought all on my own. Kinda makes me want to fight.
