My horn in my truck is broken and can be fixed and won't work with my new steering wheel?

I have an '86 ford f150 and the new steering wheel I have won't work with the hook ups to my horns. And they are broken anyways. Is there any type of system or car horn set that I can get and that is easy to install. I don't want train horns. I have a CB radio if there's anything I can do with that. If you can, can you please post links to parts or anything I might need to buy?

Why do people hate on Ford and Chevy?

Why, I don't understand why, I personally lean more for Ford BUT I don't hate Chevy, my dad bought a 2004 Ford F-150 brand new back in 2004 and has put about 356,000 miles on it, its never left us on the side of the road, and nothing has ever failed on it nor been replaced on it.

I see no difference in the reliability and quality in them.

There's no reason to hate Ford, Chevy, Dodge, GMC, Toyota ect… Every automaker has had their good cars and their bad cars and it will stay that way for as long as cars are being produced.

If you're one of those ignorant haters… Which brand do you hate and which do you love, hopefully you'll realize sometime soon cars are cars and they do all the same exact thing.

What is the best/easiest way to change the bulbs in a Ford F-150 instrument cluster to LED bulbs?

I have a 2006 Ford F-150 XLT, and I have a couple of lights burnt out in the instrument cluster. I decided when I replace the burnt out bulbs I might as well replace all of them to LED, and probably even change the color. I've searched a lot but can't find the exact answers to my questions, and I'm hoping some of you can help me out and answer them before I take the entire cluster assembly out to change the bulbs. My questions are:

1. When bulb would be best to use? I know the actual Ford part numbers (YL3Z-13B765-CA and -DA), but wondered if there's an actual bulb number that I can find the LED lights for? I have read anything from bulb type #74, to 161, 194, 37. I've also seen T5 and T10 type LED bulbs. What would be the best and brightest?

2. Does the bulb separate from the socket? Or do I have the buy the entire part together? Also, if it does separate, how easy is it to put a bulb back in? Do I need to solder or mess with the wires coming from the bulb at all?

3. I know Ford used the green/teal backlight on the instrument clusters, and I have read sometimes the needle doesn't show up very well after you change the bulbs to LED bulbs. I'm going to go with green LED bulbs anyways (my truck is green), so in your opinion will green show up decent enough to see?

How to disable the indicator beeping in my 05 Ford F-150 XL Triton?

I have problems with processing sound and little repetitive noises drive me insane. To be clear, the sound I'm referring to occurs when say the driver door is open with the keys still in the ignition without the truck running or when the seatbelt indicator is active. I'm afraid that if I do not disable this beeping that I will lose control and destroy my truck if I do not find the source of this incessant beeping and quiet it for good. Any leads or DIY instructions are welcomed!

Should I rebuild this engine?

I drive my dads 2004 Ford f-150. It was bought brand new in in 2004. It has 336,000 miles on it. Only thing that has failed was the alternator, that was at about 246,000 miles. The alternator is the the only thing that has ever been replaced beside the spark plugs, oil and all the filters.

I just want to know if we should rebuild it because its not normal for a gasoline engine to get that many miles. I don't want it catastrophically failing on me internally

Reasons my car won't start turn over?

Is there anyway my ford 150 van might have been screwed with in a bad neighborhood, i had all the doors locked and windows up and hood locked from inside, is there a way to crawl underneath the van and reach into the under carriage to cut or remove something that would cause the ignition not to turn over or did the alternator just happen to bust

How would i get a legal payment plan for a truck notarized?

So i'm gonna buy a 2002 F-150 supercrew cab 151k miles 4x4 for $4000 and i said i don't make over 2 grand a month. So id be able to make payments if we got a legal binding contract. How would it be 100% legal so lets say he was like oh no nevermind i wanna back out after i've paid like $3500 or something and also so he can't just come to my house and be like hey i'm taking it back or so if i didn't pay for like 2 months he could come legally take it back? How would i go about doing this? Please no ford comments i just need a decent truck and this is what i like.
