My horn in my truck is broken and can be fixed and won't work with my new steering wheel?
I have an '86 ford f150 and the new steering wheel I have won't work with the hook ups to my horns. And they are broken anyways. Is there any type of system or car horn set that I can get and that is easy to install. I don't want train horns. I have a CB radio if there's anything I can do with that. If you can, can you please post links to parts or anything I might need to buy?
Back in high school I changed my steering wheel and I needed to buy a horn kit so that I could have a horn with my new steering wheel, see if the store where you bought the horn has a horn kit for it. Might cost $40
Otherwise just run a wire from your horn inside the car, usually I think it's the cold wire and then you just use a horn button to ground it so it sounds, I think horn buttons are about $10 at the auto store.
