Two vehicles on a property that was just sold got towed?
The previous owner of the neighboring business property has allowed me to park vehicles on a small patch of gravel beside my garage for the past 10+ years. Just yesterday the property was sold (i was not aware or notified of this). This morning i find a citation on both of the vehicles i had there, the offence was parking on privet property. Both vehicles are not running currently running but i called my cousin to come and get them moved for me. Not even 2 hours after i found the citation and before i got them moved the one was towed and they came back for the other, i was able to get them to leave the truck my. While i was talking to the tow truck driver he told me that legally they should have warned me before getting citations and towing because the vehicles were on that property before it was bought it and the new owner did not post privet property signs or no parking signs. Should I try to fight this?
Added (1). I'm in Pennsylvania, by the way.
Added (2). The truck (the one i was able to persuade the tow truck driver to leave) is a 1987 ford f150, I was offered up to $5,000 for it before i decided to try to sell it, should've took the deal because thats plenty more then what its worth. The car however is a 2007 chevy Malibu classic and was the first car I bought all on my own. Kinda makes me want to fight.
Were the vehicles in question worth the cost of fighting it? If you're talking something like a '57 Chevy or a '65 Mustang then yes, by all means fight it. If you're talking a '95 Corolla then ehh, why bother.
Fight what? They have been towed. You were trespassing and you got notice and you got notice when the tow operator arrived. Are you trying to fight the ticket or get someone else to pay for the towing, or what?
If you are asking if someone has to post signs to keep you from trespassing, the answer is no. Hence, you do not have to put up a sign in your front yard in order to arrange to two a car that is parked in your front yard without permission.
As for taking legal advice from the tow truck operator, that seems unwise.
Nope… What crime felony or misdomenor did you committ? And that's where your obvious lie falls apart…
I would. At least try it.
- About my car i have just got a used car 2001 ford taurus? Everything run great but i was wondering what good gas to use for this car and what do you think about these car? Just wondering. I think it run great but then i feel different then other cars. If you had or have one tell me about them and how did you like or dislike about it.
- My neighbor towed my car with his truck. Is that legal? I live in a town home complex and I parked in the visitors parking lot for a couple of hours and my neighbor decided to take out his black monster truck and tow my car himself. Is that legal? The truck is a typical black ford monster truck. Any info would be greatly appreciated. It just doesn't seem right, can any civilian use their truck as a towing service?

- My car just got recalled. What do I do? Hi. I drive a 2013 Ford Focus with an automatic 6-speed transmission. I purchased the car in February. Since then, I've noticed the transmission slip when the automatic switches gears. I kind of got used to since. Just a week or so ago, I saw online that there's a recall out for my specific car. The recall is for "contamination in transmission fluid". What do I do now?
