Hi. I have a Ford F150 Supercab. I believe it weighs 6000 lb. It's a 2013. I owe about $17200 on it. I recently moved from TX to Park City, UT where there's 400ish inches of snow annually. I found a 2012 Subaru Outback with 35k miles on it (I have 40k on my truck) that seems well maintained, one previous owner, regular checkups, oil changes, inspections, etc. It's a four cylinder.
The asking price is $20k (from dealership). They offered me $22k for my truck so after the fees I get about $4k of equity towards the car, and essentially an extra $1k to put towards the principle, so I'm at a net positive here. My question is should I do it? I've heard horror stories about driving RWD trucks out here in the mountains. The trucks KBB is about 22k (they were accurate at trade in value) and the car's is about $18.5 since it's in excellent condition with very low miles.
I have 2006 ford f-150 i was wondering how would i disable anti theft on my truck? - 1
Is this a good buy? Lifted Ford f-150 engine: 4.6L V8 SOHC 16V Miles: 98,000 4 speed automatic for 13 grand?

I'm a 17 year old male and I'm getting my first car. It's a 1995 Ford F150 extended cab. I really like it and I've always wanted an older square Ford truck. I've always loved cars since I was little. I really wanted to restore something and this seems like a good opportunity. It's really rusty. Some places to notice rust are
-Behind driver and passenger doors
-Front fenders
-Bed (I plan to get a different one)
The wheels, paint, and interior are in great condition. It runs great. I want to do whatever work I can, myself. How much would it possibly cost to fix all the rust and paint where it's been repaired?
I just bought the car and didn't see until driving it home that the Gear Shifter lights don't work, what should i do?
I have a 1999 Ford F150, owned it for about a year now, and recently (as in the past week) when I turn the indicator on, sometimes the lights won't flash. When they do work, the dash arrows flash and click like they re supposed to, but when they don't nothing happens. Hazards work fine. Just wondering if anyone might have a suggestion as to what needs to be replaced/repaired
I'm starting my own shipping company just for myself, I have made myself an llc company and also got an mc number and allowed to ship household items, as of now what I'm driving is a Ford F-150 and hopefully soon getting my self a trailer or at worst hiring on from uhaul just to get started, my question is that I have being looking for cheap commercial insurance for about a week and this have nothing, the insurance company I think I'll pick is progressive commercal and the problem is it needs to be aleast 300.000 insurance and I've received a quote and the down payment is between 800 and 1800, that's far to much for me right now, and I played around with the quotes and the lowest down payment I got was just over 359, that's more like it, but it doesn't really insurance me, can I put that thought anyway and when it's done upgrade to everything I need, I know I'll be paying a lot more by month but if my business goes half as good as I hope for I should be able to afford it, can this work out?
My husband has a1987 ford f150 lariat with dual gas tanks, something is wrong with the fuel system gas comes from rear tank into front tanks then overflows, this can't be a good thing. My husband is insistent there us no pump in either tank but has a fuel reservoir instead, is that correct? The ac doesn't work and breaks will sometime sink to the floor when I have drove it, he says its way I drive. I'm sure there are other things wrong as well. He said he has a friend who had a 1988 and problem was the radiator, my dad knows quite a bit about cars and is convinced my husband is mechanically challenged and it would cost more to fix everything then to just sale to salvage yard, or junk it because my dad said car isn't worth a thing. We bought this truck in 2012 with over a 150k miles on it. It has done more sitting in drive way than driving. Would it be cheaper to junk like my dad is suggesting, will it cost more then value of truck to fix. Can anyone give me an estimate of what the truck might be worth?
The grand prix is the gt model, super charged, V6, sun roof, loaded, amazing shape, and 127000KM on it. I think its around $5000-1000.
The Ford is an F150 STX, V8 RWD, 137000KM. Amazing shape again, $9998.
I have a Grand AM right now, but I really want a truck, but it won't be the best in snow due to RWD. The Grand Prix was probably abused due being super charged. Which should I buy? The Grand prix is an hour away while the truck is like 10 blocks.
