1988 ford f150 302 5.0 stalling?

I was driving my truck about 50 to 60 miles and all of a sudden it jerked forward a few times then stalled on me. Tryed to start it up and it would run then just die again. Acts like its not getting fuel. I just went through and pulled the whole motor out cleaned it up changed all gaskets because it happened the first time. This is the first time its happened to me after but its only drove about 80 miles total. It feels normal till it dies. It didn't pass smog due to bad catalytic converter the guy said but I cut it open and it looks clean. What would cause my truck to do this. Also I just started it up before I opened my cat and it ran just fine drove it like 30 miles. Only been 18 hrs since it wouldn t drive then now it drives just fine.

92 ford F150 4x4 transmission modulator valve?

Does anyone know where the transmitransmission modulator valve is located on a 1992 Ford F150 4X4? Has a 5.0 in it. Someone told me it was located on the passenger side but I can't find it anywhere. Details and pictures would be great!

What's the possibility that my Engine Control Computer is bad in my Ford F-150?

I was deployed and just got back home after 3 years to my truck, and now when I try to turn the key to ON it blows my PCM Fuse, I hired a mechanic and the wire harness is good no shorts anywhere. It all seems to boil down to that. Possibly likely? What would cause it? Sitting in the sun for the 3 years?

Truck is 35" lifted, its big had been baking in sun.

Why is my 2004 Ford F150 (5.4L 3V Triton Engine) throwing the following codes: P0022, P0171, and P0355?

I know why it's throwing the P0022 code and it's due to the infamous cam phaser tick, but I'm mainly concerned with the misfire in cylinder 5. The latter two codes happened after replacing spark plugs and ignition coils. Overall I have done the following in the past 30 days: replaced fuel filter, fuel drive pump module (by spare tire), all spark plugs (Motorcraft SP515), all ignition coils (Accel), cam position sensors, VCT solenoids ("upgraded" Ford version), cleaned throttle body and MAF sensor. Now as for troubleshooting regarding cylinder 5 I switched fuel injector, ignition coil pack, AND spark plug (all at different times of course) and the code would NOT follow. I don't hear any vacuum leaks and I used a noid test kit to determine it's not the wiring harness for the fuel injector and ignition coil. IMO it could only be a clogged cat or a bad PCM… My truck has 152K miles. If you need to know anything else, just ask.

Ford F150 pulling up codes P0171 & P0174?

A couple nights ago I was out and my 98 f150 started to idle at a red light. Yesterday I was driving and it happened again, this time my CEL comes on. I took it to have the codes read and it came back as both P0171 fuel system lean bank 1 and P0174 fuel system lean bank 2. Today as I was almost all the way through pulling into a parking spot my engine stalled. Threw it in park turned the ignition and parked it. Now whenever I come to a stop and my RPMs get low the engine stalls with in seconds. What I did the rest of my drive home today was put my truck in park at every stop and rev the engine up just a bit so it wouldnt stall out. Anybody have and explanations for this issue or experience with this? It is a 5.4L.

1997 Ford F150 Engine Issue?

I have a 1997 Ford F-150 & the engine is making a knocking noise, there's also white smoke coming out the exhaust pipe, the more I drive around the thicker the smoke is in the tail pipe. I can leave it running idle in yard and knocking continues and truck gets to where it turns off few minutes later.

We already changed blown head gasket, this fixed one problem but now this has started.

What could this be?

Added (1). Also, upper radiator hose keeps collapsing, what is causing this?

My truck starts acting like its misfireing?

When the truck is cold it runs perfect… Then after about five ten min it start skipping and losing power and sometimes won't idle and you give it gas and it starts poping and backfiring. And after it warms up it won't get above 2800 rpms its a 88 ford f 150 302 I put a fuel pump tank and filter doing the same the plugs have about 7000 miles on them
