My drivers side window on my Ford Explorer has two parallel lines going vertically up and down. Its probably from where the little ball bearing lifts the automatic window up and down.
I want to get my windows tinted(its FL), so I want to remove those lines. I heard 0000 steel wool is good for removing blemishes on car glass.

I will be driving a 1996 Ford Explorer 4x4 next week. I know that with the whole Firestone fiasco years ago, Ford has changed the recommended tire pressure; I can't find a definitive pressure recommendation. If it matters, I will not be going off-road; it will be 20-45 degrees F so there may be snow and ice; and I will be 9000 feet above sea level.
