Heard a loud pop/bang and suddenly no power when driving… Turned the car off and was 'going' but shifting horribly and intermittently. No check engine lights on dash. Turned off overdrive and power was better but only beyond 3000rpms… Any thoughts?
Ok we have a 01 Ford Expedition XLT, and it has this issue where like in a parking lot for example won't start like it won't even click. All dashboard lights turn on like it would normally but it won't start. I don't know if it's the anti theft that.causes it to do this because we do not have the original Ford key for the car but rather another one. The way to start it is to pop the hood disconnect the battery about 5 times or so and then put a screwdriver on the starter solenoid, even then sometimes it won't work. Any ideas?

My dad has a 2004 ford expedition and it stop working. The mechanic says he needs a new fuse box. My dad was told to get the same one with the same numeration and everything or else it will not work. But is it safe to put in the same one? I mean wouldn't it burn out again? Or do I buy a newer model? I need to no As soon as possible since he is giving me the truck to commute to school Thanks!
I have a 2002 ford expedition I've changed the thermostat, fan clutch, and did a radiator flush and it still is running hot when in idle and running the ac… If I don't have my ac on it runs wonderful as soon as I turn my ac and stop at a light it starts to over heat. Over heating I mean getting to the H and all the lights coming on check engine oil pressure everything… Not sure what else to do can anyone help me out?
