Can you put conventional green antifreeze in a 2010 Ford Expedition?
Can you put conventional green antifreeze in a 2010 Ford Expedition?
Yes. Just replace it after 5k miles with the stock coolant.
If it has a different coolant in it currently you would need to flush the whole system: Radiator, Block and Heater. So in between for a good half hour drive I would fill it with water and drain again then fill with conventional coolant. It might be easier to change the thermostat at the same time.
It depends what is already in it. Check with the car manual before you just start adding fluids to anything. Mixing the wrong kind of fluids together can be bad for the engine.
