Is a 2011 Ford Taurus a good first car?

I'm a 16 year old guy and I like the newer Ford Taurus. I like full-size sedans that AWD and have many options to choose from. I really want a 2010-12 Ford Taurus Limited AWD. I don't really need a vehicle right now and I don't want something old because it might not be well taken care of and totally unreliable. I know you're probably thinking "You're parents must be rich" or "It'll just be crashed in 2 days anyway." Well, my parents aren't rich and I'm a better driver than some people I've rode with. I plan on buying this car after I graduate from high school. I will be 18 after I graduate and a month or 2 before I go to college. I'm going to work and save up money to buy it. I want to pay cash the whole thing. I don't really want to finance any vehicle because I'll be in college. If I have to finance, I want to have a majority of the money for the down payment because payments will be lower. I don't want to finance unless, I absolutely have to and payments are reasonable ($100 or less per month). Should I do this? Why or why not?

Also, does the SEL have ambient lighting? Can I get the SEL with navigation and a backup camera?

Added (1). Miatas are nice but, that is way to small and it's now AWD. Cars like BMW and Mercedes are too expensive to work on.

Added (2). I like the bold, mature looks of the 2010-12 Taurus. I like how it looks like it wouldn't be owned by someone young.

How much will this car cost in 2016?

I'm 16 and I'll be graduating in 2016. I want to buy a car when I graduate. I'll be saving the money to buy it for the next year and a half. The car I want is a fully loaded 2010-12 Ford Taurus Limited AWD. I don't want to get something old with high miles because I might have to put a lot of money into repairs. I don't need a car right now so, why have one? This car's price ranges from $13,000-$20,000. I'll probably be able to get a really good deal in 2016, as the price will probably go down. I don't want anything to do with payments unless, the payments are less than $100 per month. I will have a majority of the money saved by the time I graduate. How much should I expect to pay for this car in 2016?

Added (1). Could I find one then for around $11,000 or less?

I have a 2002 Ford Taurus that won't start?

It started one minute, I drove home. Later that night it just wouldn't start. It cranks and tries but fails. The pump turns on. I'm assuming it's not getting fuel. My question is what could cause it to not start. Or what would prevent fuel from getting to the engine beside the injectors and the fuel filter

How can a teen make money?

I'm 16 and I want to buy a car. I'm that kind of person who isn't going to buy the first one I see for sale. I'm also not looking for flashy. The car I want is a little expensive. I want a 2010-12 Ford Taurus Limited AWD. The price on this car ranges from $12,000-$20,000. My parents can't buy it for me because they aren't rich. I wouldn't let them anyway. I want to buy it myself. I'm going to get a part-time job and start saving. That will bring me a little over $100 per week if I work every day so, that would be about $6,000-$7,000 in a year. What else could I do to make the money so I could buy it?

Added (1). I know it's an expensive car but, I would be saving over a year and a half. I want a newer car because it might be better than an older car.

Why aren't my Windows rolling up in 1995 Ford Taurus?

I have a 1995 Ford Taurus Gl and the driver side window will not roll up it will roll down all day but will not roll up. I'm a pretty good at working on cars and have checked fuses even the window switch and motor and all of it is still showing the same problem it will only work one way. Is there a short in my wiring?

Should I wait until I graduate from high school to buy a car?

I'm a 16 year old guy and I'm having trouble deciding whether to buy a car next year or wait until I graduate from high school. I worry about older cars with higher miles because they could be great or they could have little time left. I live in a place where everything is pretty much a 5 minute walk. My family memebers and my parents friends will let me drive their cars whenever I need them or they'll give me a ride so, I don't really need a car. Why should I pay for insurance and gas for a car I don't need? If I buy a car when I graduate, it will be 5-6 years old and will me going to college with me. What should I do? The older car might be something like an old beat up car with high miles. I need AWD/4WD for winter. The newer cars I want are either a 2010-12 Ford Taurus AWD or a 2011 Ford Explorer Limited 4WD. What should I do? Should I wait until I graduate from high school or buy one next year?
