LPG regulator problem- 25mph max?

I have an LPG conversion on a Ford van that is ~30 years old (yes, it's ancient, tho with sentimental value). I'm able to handle most problems like replace fuel line locks and even a rebuild on the Impco carb unit that sits atop the gas carb.
The current problem is some hard limit on fuel supply, such that the engine will start and idle smoothly and rev up to ~2600 rpm/25mph max, but then runs very rough (overcarbureted?). I can only assume the issue is the regulator. Is there a regulator rebuild kit available? Replace or repair?
BTW, the regulator was installed in a very awkward place, so it is difficult to inspect or service.
The van has been used very little recently. It sat idle for perhaps a year while I was away. Some deterioration was expected, but this problem stumps me.
Any advice or referrals would be very much appreciated.

2000Ford Fairmont. Why is my front left brakes making a loud grinding noise when i break and accelerate?

I drive a 2000 ford Fairmont and about a month back it started making a loud grinding noise when i braked and accelerated. Only when i get to around 70kmp/h the sound goes away. I have taken the wheel off and there were metal shavings surround the rear of the brake calipar and disc. There was also rust powder but i don't think that means much. I'm pretty broke so any cheap options would be most suited

Why such a large spread for timing belt replacement costs for different cars?

I have a 2003 Volvo and the garages, a few that I have asked, say $1100. My friend has a 2001 Ford, and online it says $200-300. Why such extreme price differences?

Added (1). My other friend has a 99 Toyota and a 2005 Toyota and was quoted $900 and $1000, respectively.

Added (2). 2003 Volvo S40 (1.9). The last garage that told me was the one I always use and it very reliable and honest. They are a family business, and I know the cousin. I imagine that the quote is for replacement for all the stuff you should do at the same time.

Ugh. I was just psyched that I had money for new tires and then would be caught up. Sigh. Oh, Murphy's Law… How you vex me.

Car won't start, radio turns on automatically when I try to start the car?

I have a 2004 Ford Freestar and I attempted to wire it for pulling a trailer. Well, I messed something up because now when I try to start the car it clicks like a dead battery.

If that's all that happened I would just assume the battery was dead but the radio turns on too and the lights on the dash go a little buggy…

so I removed all the wires I installed but the problem still persists. Any help would be great!

Which would be a better option?

I would really like either a '67 Impala or a '64 Ford truck. Do you think it would be better to purchase a fixer-upper and fix it? Or purchase one in great condition?

ONE MORE QUESTION:
Which one do you like better- a '67 hard top two-door Impala, or a '64 Ford truck?
