Should I wet sand after multiple stages of dry sanding?

I'm restoring/painting my 79 ford truck. I have got the whole truck down to bare metal but there's scratches you can see when the light hits it. I'm in the process of smoothing them out using 80 grit then 180 grit then 320 grit but I'm wondering if that's gunna be smooth enough and not show any scratches after my paint job is done. I'm also using bright baby blue if that makes a difference

What steps can I take if I feel I've been violated by Canadian Border Patrol?

This weekend I went to Canada. 35 year old middle class white male. At the border, he kept asking questions about my white ford truck. I have a completely clean record… Not even speeding tickets. And I bought the truck new 5 years ago so I knew it hasn't ever been in trouble.

So the guy tells me to pull over into the detained section. Two Canadian officers come out and start going through everything. They get their hands on my laptop and the lady tells me to type in the password. I told her I never heard of this before and said that it doesn't seem legal. She assured me that it was so I typed it in. She looked at it for a second, closed it then brought it inside. I was told to go inside.

Then she brings me to the counter and tells me to state my password. I told her I wasn't comfortable with that as there were other people waiting in the room. She said she would detain the laptop if I didn't give it. So I had to spell it OUT LOUD.

So, for two hours they went through my laptop. Numerous times, I could see three of them looking at my photos… And as you can imagine, I had photos of myself I wouldn't exactly want the Canadian government perusing through. A few times, the three of them were laughing. The whole ordeal was humiliating and I feel livid.

After they tell me they just need to run background check on me. AFTER the laptop search. I feel like a laptop search should be the last step if something isn't right. I feel violated.

Do I have a case?

Car under warranty do I take it to the dealer or small shop for service?

I have a new to me but used 05 Ford car that still has the warranty on it. I bought from a dealer with only 70K on it. The front brakes need serviced. The local Ford dealer will charge $60 just to look at it then. Although, if I take it to a smaller auto shop the charge is $15, but I have to open the claim on it.

Because of the warranty and my deductible is $100. Do I just take it to the local ford dealer and have them service it? Or small shop that is ASE then I open the claim and work out the details? Small garages will honor the warranty just a lot of phone work involved on my end.

Added (1). Sense I didn't properly write my question and looked into my paperwork more carefully. The car is under the Extended warranty plan which includes the calipers, but not the brakes or rotors. Sense the issue is excessive brake dust only on the driver front wheel. I'm going to look into the caliper sticking.

Why is my car making these weird noises, and does it need a professional opinion or is it easily fixed?

My ford fairmont (Ghia) 1997 model, recently has made an odd popping noise in what seemed to be the left side of the car out of no where. The car prior to the popping noise was vibrating odd when idled at traffic lights and such, though once it passed roughly 20Kms, it ceased to vibrate (prior to the pop noise, though ongoing).

Now after this pop noise, it's vibrating is ongoing and unpreventable. The car is dual fuel, but switching between does not altercate this problem. The Vehicle is also leaking some sort of fluid underneath, though it's very minor and the leak is almost unnoticeable. The Car has been maintained and cheked well, all fluids in the car are up and fine.

Any help or suggestions are much needed!
