Why is my car making these weird noises, and does it need a professional opinion or is it easily fixed?

My ford fairmont (Ghia) 1997 model, recently has made an odd popping noise in what seemed to be the left side of the car out of no where. The car prior to the popping noise was vibrating odd when idled at traffic lights and such, though once it passed roughly 20Kms, it ceased to vibrate (prior to the pop noise, though ongoing).

Now after this pop noise, it's vibrating is ongoing and unpreventable. The car is dual fuel, but switching between does not altercate this problem. The Vehicle is also leaking some sort of fluid underneath, though it's very minor and the leak is almost unnoticeable. The Car has been maintained and cheked well, all fluids in the car are up and fine.

Any help or suggestions are much needed!

So basically somthing has gotten loose. And because you didn't repair it straight away you damaged it more explaining the fuel leakage. You need to go to a mechanic. It looks like you have to buy a new piece of whatever is broken but if you went earier it might of been fixable. Sorry i'm not that much of help. (14 year old girl interested in cars lol) go to another mechanic they might have different views on how they find a problem
Hope there was some advice in this

When I read about a person wondering if they need to go to a mechanic when they know something has been wrong with the vehicle for a while and now it is a constant problem, you're not going to convince me the vehicle is "well maintained"! You're idea that the car gets serviced and maintained properly is probably having a high school drop out at Jiffy Lube change your oil.

The problem has already been circled!
