Key broke off in my ignition, what should I do now?

Tonight I found out that the key broke off in my ignition. I'm still able to start the car, but I can't open up my trunk of course.

How can I correct the problem? I have lost my spare key, and I don't know where or how I can get another key for the car. It's a 1998 Ford Contour SE.

I'd like to get another spare key, but seeing that my original is in two pieces, one of which is inside the ignition, I don't know how to correct this problem.

Is my car still safe to drive? How can I get a new key, and get the old piece out of the ignition inexpensively?

Could a Chevy guy like a Ford girl?

Say there was a girl and a guy who began talking and getting to know each other. They hit it off well, and were talking about things they enjoy. The guy said he loves Chevy. He has one, and it is his love. The girl says the same thing… But about Ford. Could the guy still want to be with her?

I have a 1979 Lincoln Mark V with a persistent stalling problem. It has a 400 cu. In. (6.6L) V8)?

This car has been driven only 17,000 miles since 1989. It has had (still has) an intermittent stalling problem upon accelerating from a stop at anytime in any weather. It has been worked on by a Lincoln Dealer a few times and by at lest 5 other independent auto repair dealers. In those 17,000 miles the carburetor has been replaced FOUR times! And has been cleaned and adjusted several times. Just about every part in the fuel and ignition system has been replaced from the fuel lines, fuel pump, spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, set of ignition wires, vacuum unit, and air filter. Some more than once. Some dealers took the shotgun approach and just threw parts at it in hopes of solving the problem. This car was manufactured during one of the first government required exhaust emissions mandates. It has every emissions device known to the industry in 1979 installed along with a detuned engine to pass the emissions control inspections. I want to sell the car but not be nasty and saddle someone else with this problem. Ford Motor company is of no help, I tried. Most Ford or Lincoln dealers no longer employ mechanics that know how to work on cars with carburetors. To the manufacturer and any Ford dealership a 5 year old car is ancient history. This one they consider prehistoric. Any help out there?

Why do car companies sell in different countries under different names?

Why are companies like Chevrolet selling their cars under names like Holden in Australia? I'm not sure if Chevrolet sells in Australia but I do think they do. If they already sell in Australia, what's the point of selling the same thing under Holden? Another example is some Ford cars are sold under Lincoln, and Chevrolet sells the same thing under GMC. Buick and Opel? What's with this?

Fixing up 1957 ford fairlane?

So my dad and I want to fix up his first car that we have at his old house. Its gonna need a new engine, so i was wondering if LS1 swapping would be viable? What is an ideal engine to throw in it, also we're interested in swapping the transmission to a manual to make it a little more interesting. Any estimates on how much it would cost?

Can a dealer scamer garnish my wages?

So I saw this add online for Ford of Upland to train employees as sales ppl. I was promised $2,000 every month plus commission from a guy ford of Upland hired to train us. I've been working there about a month. On the 5th am supposed to get commisions. On the 20th am supposed to get my 2,000.( Well I only got $800 ). I signed a paper saying my trainer could garnish my wages at the end of the month by taking 350 to pay for the program at the end of my 1st month. So my trainer took out the money and I didn't get my 2,000 only 800. Do you think the bank will give me back my 350 if I tell them this has all been a scam and lies? I've lost so much money first I paid $400 up front to the dealer to get my training started not they took out an extra $350. I basically haven't gotten paid for anything! I've been working over 40 hrs each week and I haven't gotten evenot at all. Help me out please I don't know own what to do.
