Is it difficult driving a van?

I currently own a Ford Sable, but I want a bigger car. Me and my friend wish to travel for cheap, and we looked into van, specifically camper vans. I was looking into a Chevy Astro van, but they are quite large, and seems easily rollable. I also live in Minnesota, where the roads can turn dangerous. So I was wondering if a van is a safe and easy idea, or I should stick with smaller vehicles.

Pros and cons of upgrading alternator?

I have a 99 ford crown Vic and it's about time to change my alternator. My last question about 2 weeks ago explains everything. But a stock alt for my car is 135 amps. I'm thinking of getting a 220 amp high output alternator to also support my stereo systems. There no other alternator just 135amp and 220amp. I'm just wondering will that produce too much power or no?

Is Saturn considered import or domestic?

I'm wondering whether a Saturn car/truck/etc is considered an imported vehicle (not build in North America, such as Mazda, VW, Honda, etc.) or a domestic one (built in North America, such as Ford, Chev, Dodge, etc.). I'm pretty sure it is domestic, but just checking to be sure.

Mercedes benz repair expensive?

My wife want to buy a mercedes benz, we're not rich but we can afford the car, i have heard though that the parts are very expensive and even more expensive to repair. Can anyone confirm this for me or is it the same as having a Chevy, ford. Ect?

My 1996 ex-cop ford crown victoria won't shift from park

I have an ex-cop 1996 crown victoria and one day randomly I went to start it and i did the usual put they keys in and start the car press the break and shift down but it was strange because when i did this the car would not shift out of park it was locked it wouldnt budge the only way now to shift my car out of park is with the car turned off the shift from park to neutral and then hit the break before my car hits traffic and shift to drive thats the only way and also after that inccident now my break lights do not work any more what is wrong please help me!
