2005 Ford Freestyle SEL Transmission(CVT) or Throttle Body Issues?

Ok any advise is greatly appreciated… I was driving our 05 Freestyle yesterday going from yard sale to yard sale and everything was fine, It was approx. 80 degrees and everything as normal (driving conditions). Well, I stopped for a break at the local beach and when I returned to my freestyle to leave I put the car in reverse to back out and it went into gear kind of hard but I figured that was because I was parked on a very slight incline, then shifted into D and it was smooth. I was able to drive about 35 feet out of the parking lot before I lost all acceleration, even though I was still pressing on the gas. I was able to coast to the side of the road, before turning the car off I noticed the check engine and check transmission lights were both on. I turned the car off for a minute or so and restarted, restarted fine… Went to shift into D and it was a "thump" which you could feel inside the car as well. Still no response from the gas pedal(throttle), switched into N and it was smooth, still no response from gas pedal, switched into R and the "thump" again with still no response from gas pedal. Turned car off, disconnected positive battery cable to try and reset system and checked the transmission fluid which was clean an at proper level. After waiting about 10 minutes I reconnected the battery and tried again.everything still the same. After having it towed home I tried again with no luck. Replaced Throttle body last year.

Open brake line on 57 Ford F100?

I recently bought a 57 Ford to fix up, I'm new to the restoration game and have run into some fixes that I've never come across in the past. I was trying to replace the hydraulic brake light switch and accidentally removed the switch and the housing that connects it to
The brake system. Air obviously got into the lines so the brakes are useless at this point. Should I just bleed the lines individually to fix it or is a different process necessary at this point. I'm aware of my mistake so please refrain from any rude comments, but any help would be appreciated!

2005 Ford Freestyle AC Issues?

We have a 2005 Ford Freestyle we bought 3 years ago and have always had issues with the AC. This summer I decided to have it looked at by a mechanic in town. They replaced the Compressor and the valves and charged it up. It was better, but still not quite right and got worse as the weeks went on. We took it back and they said there was a leaking shrader valve which they replaced. It's better, but still not right. It's cold at high rpms, but warm at low rpms. I had it in park and sat in it for a while, came out warm (82 degrees outside). I revved the engine up with it in park and the ac got cold. (Around 2500-3000 rpms). Let off the gas and the ac started blowing warm again. I'm taking it back to the mechanic Monday, but he s uncertain as to what would cause it since he s already replaced so much. I wanted to know if anyone has experienced this before and what they changed to fix it. It seems that both of the fans are running, but only the right 1 is pulling a lot of air through the radiator. The left 1 is working, but not pulling much air. Could this be the issue? I'm just stumped and frustrated after spending $1,200 on it this year.
