All… Pay cash
What's a good amount? The more you save, the better off you are…
I highly suggest having the full amount.
Whatever it takes, plus enough to cover insurance and unexpected repairs for a year
The complete price of the vehicle
- Which car is the overall to keep for a couple of yrs? 1999 Nissan maxima, 1999 Altima, 2006 ford Taurus or 2002 buick lesabre? All of them have low mileage as the Taurus have 69000 and the maxima have the highest of 123000. They all under 1100 bucks.
- Have a 1982 200 Ford inline 6, It idles perfect And quiet, when you accelerate it gets a good amount of power for about a second then? Starts losing power, if you floor it, it will die. Starts losing most power at half throttle after that it starts to hesitate. Has a new carburetor, timing is good, advancer working, new spark plugs, fuel pump, filter, pcv valve, vaccum lines good, Ah I forgot to mention it runs better with the choke about 3/4 closed, no diaphragm for pump. It has original electronic ignition.
- Ford, Dodge, Toyota or Chevrolet? I'm a Ford/Dodge kind of guy. I hear the saying, "Chevy Runs Deep." Well what's gonna tow it back out? Haha. But for real, maybe throw in some fact with your answer. Mine is that the Fords came first, they're lighter, RUSTY WALLACE, and just the entire F series.
- Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Toyota? Please no jokes or insults: Which is your favorite and why? What is the difference: body type, under the hood, tires, transmission?
