Can my car handle the mountains?

So I'm about to move to Lake Arrowhead ca from LA, but I'm a bit worried that my car wouldn't be able to handle the driving there. I drive a 1964 ford mustang that is in really good condition, but my realtor said there's no way I should be driving it up there especially since I'll be making an almost 2 hour commute to college every other day. I haven't driven up there yet with it but I've been a countless amount of other times on vacation and it is a very big hill to get up to where I live. I also know that it snows up there, and can my car be driven in the snow? Is this hopeless or do I have to buy a new car? Answers appreciated.

Should I get a cold air intake?

I have a 2000 v6 ford mustang, I was wanting to know if it's worth it buying a cold air intake. I've heard from places that it's not Bc it really don't add HP or torque like they say. But others say it can add 10+. I can find some on eBay for like $40 or $50 so is it worth it?

2007 Ford Mustang automatic transmission problems?

One morning I'm driving to go to work and all of a sudden my overdrive light on my console started flashing and my drive stoped working. I was able to pull the car over. I tried putting it in reverse and it wouldn't go. So now I see both drive and reverse are out. But the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears work. So now when I drive it I'll drive in 3rd gear and at about 45 mph I'm actually able to switch it to drive and the drive will start working. Can somebody please help me out by telling me what the issue may be? I would really appreciate it!

Knock on startup that goes away?

I have a 2014 Mustang GT with 4k miles. After the first oil change, I noticed a knock during warm startups. It goes away right away and I already had Ford check the oil filter and levels. One of their techs told me that the 5.4L do the same thing. They said with the variable cam timing it can cause the oil pressure to drop. This being said, getting a dry start occasionally. They said I have nothing to worry about and if it happens to get worse to bring it back in for tear down. I want to know if there are any other 5.0 owners out there that have the same thing happening. If so, what happened with yours? Any other advice is also welcome.
