Hail damage car was totaled?

So I have a 2011 Ford Focus. It hailed and there's some decent dents on the car but everything still works and no windows are shattered. I called my insurance company and had it appraised and basically they declared it totaled and valued it at 7 thousand dollars. I just financed the car in August for 10 thousand and so I will owe a balance. Can I fight the insurance company to have them un total it? It still works fine and only has 30 thousand miles on it, the dents are just ugly but I can't afford a loss like this right now.

Oil change on my ford focus! Big proublem?

So i was changing the oil on my 2007 for focus today. Took oil out everything good. Took off old filter everything good. BUT! When i was putting the bolt back on the motor to add the new oil, i over tightened the bolt so it just kept spining! Turns out some of the tread from inside the motor came out in the bolt when i took it out. Now it does not tighten good. It does a little but not all the way. What can i do now?

My crush wants me to give him rides, but I'm really embarrassed of my car?

I'm 17, and a newly licensed driver. I'm totally grateful for even having a car. The car itself looks fine; it's a 2000 Ford Focus. It's a normal, small car. I bought it used, and it came with a broken side view mirror that has been "artfully"by taped back on. It has no glass mirror either. I still haven't fixed it because money is tight with my parents.

And when I turn on the car, it makes an engine noise. I'm used to it, but I remember how I reacted to it when I first heard it…

He obviously wants the rides as an excuse to be around me, as we have no classes together, and only see each other occasionally in the hallways or at lunch. I just don't know what to do, or what to tell him? We're both 17. I just feel so insecure about it.

What is the right size socket to remove the axle nut on a 2002 Ford Focus?

What is the right size socket to remove the axle nut on a 2002 Ford Focus?

Added (1). Replacing the drum and bearings, most of what I have seen says it's a 29 mm socket… A few other things say 30 mm… But when I tried both, neither fit. A 32 mm fits, but it's loose… You can rattle it around. What is the right size? And is it possible that the nut is damaged or defective and the theoretically proper size socket is not fitting as a result (it's not a one piece nut, it has 6 separated pieces of metal that form the hexagonal outer edge, it looks like it could flare out a bit)?
