What new car should I buy?

I'm interested in buying a new Chevy Sonic, Ford Fiesta, Kia Soul, or something along those lines. Nothing that is over 18 thousand.

I live in Utah and the winter can be bad and I know those are f r ont wheel drive… I know that getting goods will aslo improve handling in the winter too. I'm really looking for something that I can drive every day to school, work, and take road trips.

Added (1). I'm trading my 1996 subaru and don't want to be disappointed with the car I get. I know getting a small compact I would be sacrificing cargo space and the AWD.

What's the best, least expensive small car to purchase?

I'll be buying my first car soon. I was thinking along the lines of the Toyota Yaris, Ford Fiesta, Nissan Versa Note, etc. I'll be moving out of my parents house so it'll only be me using the car.

I'm looking for a comfortable driving experience, great MPG, and something cheap. Any ideas?

Diesel engine turns over slowly but won't start?

I have a 1995 ford fiesta lx diesel, tried to start it this morning and it won't start. The dashboard lights came on and it turned over slowly - got slower and slower on further attempts.
Four weeks ago husband flattened the battery by leaving the air con running but the AA charged it up again, so wondering if the battery is weak or if it's likely to be something else? Haven't got Home Start and don't want to call out mechanic if it's just the battery. Also is it very difficult to change the battery yourself?
Sorry that's about three questions in one!

Got a new clutch in my car and need my radio keycode please?

I have a ford fiesta finesse 2003
My radio is a 4500 rds eon
My serial number is M161417
I'd be very grateful if someone could get my keycode for me please as I've tried everything and ford are asking £25 just to supply me with a 4 digit code.

New car from ford suspension bouncy?

I have the Ford fiesta 1.6 powershift Zetec that I got for £15,800 with packages and shipping, the car is now bouncy over the bumps. I really dnt know how the suspension is meant to be as my other car is a m sport suspension that handles speed bumps.

Which car should I buy? Ford Fiesta or Focus, Mazda3, VW Golf?

Or any others? I've looked some at the honda fit and civic, VW Jetta as well. Cheaper is generally better, I definitely want to stay below $21,000 (although the Fiesta ST is looking very tempting, despite that I don't know how to drive manual transmission).

I commute 30-45 each way 5 days a week in Chicago, so some city and some highway parts both. Single, no family in the immediate horizon, so "fun-to-drive" is one of the biggest criteria for me, along with gadgets and comfort. And fuel efficiency.

BTW I'm looking at the Fiesta + Focus Titanium trim, probably the Golf S, and the Mazda 3 i Touring.

So, any suggestions or ideas?
