I have a 1997 Ford F150 v8 and i'm planning on traveling about a 3 hour drive maybe every other weekend for a while
the truck has 184k miles on it and there's never really been anything like go out on it or anything. It runs fairly well just a bit of rust and not so great gas mileage
do you think it could handle it?
I currently have to choose between driving a 2001 Ford F-150 XLT Super Crew with 165k miles on it and a 2009 Toyota Corolla XLE with 118k miles on it. I love trucks, and that is what I will always buy. I know corollas are reliable however and it has less miles on it. But I feel like a dang girl driving it. I don't know which one I should pick because I'm moving from Texas to Oklahoma and want this vehicle to last me like 3-4 more years.
On a Ford F150 alternator wher do the 3 wires on the plug go to? - 1

Will replacing the anti-sway bars bushings on my 2002 ford f150 xlt 5.4 liter with a polyurethane bushings kit alone, improve the cornering resistance & handling?
Its pretty tight handling as it is stock but I wouldnt mind getting a little firmer on cornering.
I have too many cars and will move in a few days. I need a pickup truck to help move. I have a 97 Jeep and 88 Mercedes that I want to trade for a 97 Ford 150. The 88 Mercedes is has been garage storage (looks new as if it was 1988). The Jeep needs a muffler but runs good. Who would come out on top? Good idea?
I just bought a used grille but it didn't come with the grille covers which are the "honeycomb" looking mesh that helps big insects from coming in contact with the radiator while driving. I was wondering if anyone knew where i could buy them. I've been looking in ebay and i haven't had any luck. The inside of my grille has some type of locks for it.

I recently bought a 1987 Ford F-150 and the windshield wipers do not work. When you turn them on you can hear the wiper motor, but the wipers do not work. I know that there's a little fuse box in the dash behind the wiper switch, and I think it may be that but am not sure. Also today the radio randomly stopped working but then started working again, not sure if it could be connected or not. Anyone know what it could be?
Where is the filler hole?
I want to remake the interior of my F150, and I want it to be custom. I'd like a nice wood finish type interior, new seats, gauges, the whole thing. Obviously it depends on what I want and where I go, but could anybody ballpark me?
