What is the fastest ford truck engine as of the mid-90s?

I need to know what the fastest ford engine that was produced mid-90s or before. Hurry hurry hurry!

"first SVT Lightning truck entered the scene in 1993. It featured a 5.8 L engine with performance GT40 cylinder heads (found on this era 5.0 Mustang Cobra), cam, pistons, intake (also found on the 5.0 H.O. Mustang, however re-branded "Lightning" instead of "5.0 H.O."), headers, dual exhaust, oil cooler and modified engine computer programming."
"'93 - '95 351W L Gen 1 L Engine:

Type 90° V-8
Bore x stroke 4.0 in. X 3.5 in.
Displacement: 5.8 liter/351 cid
Compression ratio: 8.8:1
Horsepower: 240 hp @ 4200 rpm
Torque: 340 lbs.-ft. @ 3200 rpm

Hypereutectic pistons
Dual pattern cam
GT40 Heads (NOT GT40P)
GT40 tubular intake (NOT Cobra)
S/S headers w/ true dual exhaust
Alum driveshaft
Lightning tuned PCM"

An ENGINE, by itself is NOT FAST. It just sits there and makes noise. You need to combine the rest of the vehicle and its driveline to create something that goes "fast". And since every part of the country has speed limits, it really doesn't matter whether your truck is "fast". Pretty much ANY late model Ford pickup is capable of exceeding ANY posted speed limit in the country.

That's all you need to know.

Would have been the Lightning.

93-95 it used a special version of the 351/5.8 Windsor. 96-98 they didn't make one. 99-04 it used a special supercharged version of the 5.4 Triton.

Probably the 600-700 HP one found under the hood of this F-150What is the fastest ford truck engine as of the mid-90s - 1
