Was driving my car just fine down the street yesterday and all of a sudden it just stopped accelerating but engine was reving up while i was pushing down on the peddle. Car will not go in reverse or drive, or the 1 or d. Car won't even shake or anything when switching gears. Car still starts up perfectly fine. I didn't hear any noise at all when this happened, it just all of sudden failed. I checked the fluid while car was running and it was at a perfect level. Not dark or anything it was a light color still. Car wasn't slipping or anything. Was lagging for 1 second when accelerating fast. I pretty much said F this car I'm buying a new one. Good idea? Thoughts?
I have a 00 Taurus it overheated on the highway and turned off it started again and I made it to another place and turned it off and back on and then came back the next day and drove it home. Started it again the next morning car stopped starting. Before it broke down I was convinced that the fuel filter was bad it was light puttering after taking my foot off break and it did it in reverse really bad. Now there's no gas going to the engine. Could the fuel filter cause my engine to overheat?
I have a 08 Ford Taurus. The tranny fluid is leaking from ac condenser. My car has the AC on top part of condenser and the transmission cooler on bottom which is where it's leaking out. I bought a replacement for it but how long will it take to replace?

I just recently bought a Ford Taurus. When Driving (Especially Accelerating) the car sputters. It just started yesterday. The RPMS do not fluctuate, so I don't think, and hope its not the transmission. Any ideas?
Its a 2003 ford taurus with 113k miles, it cranks and cranks but doesn't start, unless you use starter fluid, but it BARELY starts and dies right after it starts, the spark plugs are pretty new (100k they were replaced) it has good compression, the fuel pump is good, fuel filter replaced at the same time as spark plugs, no check engine lights
So 1 day i was listening to my scosche bluetooth that uses my radio, finds a station so i can play music. My radio just stopped working. No sounds(not even static) are coming out my speakers. When i changed the station, my radio can't find a station. I checked all the fuses, and checked what wiring i could find and check, but i see no issue. I have no idea in hell why no sound is coming out my speakers and not a single station can be found, i pressed seek and it goes through all the stations, not stopping at a single 1.

I got it from my neighbor. I used to drive her around to the stores and Dr.'s for at least 10 yrs. Never had a problem. But now it stall's out after 10min of running once it cools down it starts up again, but it does the same. I thought it could be the gas tank. Cause it sat for a couple of years. But there saying no it's not that. Can anybody help me with this. Thanks Bill
PS. I also had a tune-up done the full works, new brakes, fuel filter and drove it from NJ to FLA. And it ran great. Now it's acting up. I'm hopen someone had this problem and can help me.
