Ford dealer with proof of ownership of the car.

Kenny is correct, Replacement Keys MUST be bought through the dealer. Modern car keys have a small chip inside that relays a proprietary signal to the cars ECU. Without an IDENTICAL key, the car won't start.

If the car is open look in the service records -when new there should be a unique number for the Ford agent to make a new one, if however the car is locked or the service records don't have any information on the car key records, call a specialist auto locksmith for your area( google the information)they will be able to break into the car, and fit a new ignition and door key barrel. This may be expensive as the key probably had an engine immobiliser built in and it's not just making another key to fit the existing locks.

Or rather than a dealership, you have a locksmith come to the car. If you have proof that you own the car, they can make a key from the lock itself. I'm sure not all locksmiths will be able to, but I had a buddy run into the same issue and did this.

Call a Ford dealership parts department and ask them. They'll want to see a title or some other true proof of ownership.

Get TWO sets made.
