My son has a 2000 Ford Taurus, there's not heat in his car?

The car is equipped with a Auto Climate Control Unit. When the heat is turned on the blower motor does turn on as if there's no power to the blower. We have replaced the blower motor and checked all the fuses and relays. Could this be the Climate Control Resistor or the all in one controls on the dashboard? Or did we overlook something else?

You can click on the link below and look through the 3 diagrams then when you're finished, click any other circuit you wanna see a diagram for to the left side of screen. I recommend clicking on power distribution after you read the 1st page. The blower motor does have a blower motor relay which you should test. You can simply borrow another relay from the panel with a matching part # and slide it in place of the suspect blower motor relay to see if the fan will then begin working. If it does, the relay is bad.A low speed and high speed fan relay is also shown in the diagram you're gonna look at when opening the link, but those may be for the cooling fans. If you remove both of them and the cooling fans stop working, they are for the cooling fans and not the blower motor. I would also disconnect the wiring harness from the blower motor, turn the key on, turn the heat and fan on, then test for battery voltage. If voltage isn't present, the wiring harness may have a open or short

  • 2003 Ford Taurus SES heat not working correctly? The thermostat will be up to temp where it should be reading on my dash, I also have plenty of antifreeze in and I'm almost positive that wouldn't be my problem… When I turn the the heat on I will get decently hot air blow out for a few seconds and then it'll immediately turn to cold air… What do you guys think? Hopefully it's a fuse I'm thinking
  • 2000 ford taurus no heat? I try everything I flash it, I change the thermostat, and add new coolant I check the blend door, and the heater core is ok check at ford dealership and I don't know what is wrong with the heat
  • I have a 2000 dodge caravan and the rear heat works great but the front heat blows cold? The blower motors all work fine, has new water pump and brand new coolant. The top vents in the dash blow lukewarm warm but if you switch it to defrost it comes out ice cold but the rear heat still blows super hot air. Coolant level is full. I've read about the blend door could that be the issue? Could a coolant line to the front dash be clogged? I'm a ford mechanic but kinda stumped and have never worked on a dodge.
  • Is it normal that my 8 yrs son loves trucks, SUVs and cars so much? Like when a pickup truck passes by he would tell me, look mom it's a Ford F150. And he does this everytime we go out…
