What is the torque needed on an axle nut 1998 ford windstar?

I'm replacing the CV Axle as well as the sway bar on a 1998 ford windstar. I'm learning as I go and have been watching video's and reading about it. Some say that the axle nut needs 150 foot pounds of torque and others say 225 so I'm confused. I just want to know how necessary is it really? I have a torque wrench that only goes up to 150. Does it really matter as long as I get it as tight as possible without stripping it? Also the same thing with the sway bar can I just get it tight enough. If not how do I get that info especially on an older vehicle?

Fitting three car seats across?

We have two daughters ages 2 and 1. Our girls are petite and rear face still. Lately my husband and I have been discussing a third child but before we even try to conceive we wanted to think about how we would fit three car seats in our vehicles. My husband drives a 2005 Pontiac G6 and I drive a 1998 Ford Crown Victoria. Currently we have two Evenflo SureRide DLX car seats in my husband's car. In my car we have two Evenflo Sympthony LX car seats. The infant carriers we currently own from our daughters are a Graco Snugride Classic Connect 30 and an Evenflo Nurture. As an extra carseat we also own a Graco My Ride 65 LX. I've not actually tried to install any combination of those because I can't see it working. Especially not in my husband's car. His back seat is much less spacious than mine but all car seats in my car are installed using lap belts and locking clips since my vehicle doesn't have LATCH. Dose anyone know of any car seats we could use to achieve three across? Or has anyone achieved three across in like make/ model cars?

Explain Military Grade Aluminum?

Ford claims it's new F-100 is made with Military Grade Aluminum. I know about 1100+ 2024 etc but what is Military Grade? Or is this just another load of Advertising Cr*p from Ford?

Which car brand is better, Acura or Mercedes-Benz?

My mom is wondering what kind of car would be good to replace her Mercury Grand Marquis. She was considering the Lincoln MKS but after we heard it wasn't that great of a car (and all our Ford products have been unreliable) so my mom is considering either an Acura RLX or Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Looking at used ones, they're about the same price, but we might be able to get a better deal on the Acura. Which car would you get?

1997 Ford Thunderbird Hazard flasher Issue?

The turn signals work fine but the hazard flashers don't work at all. Could the issue be within the flasher relay unit or could it be something else? Maybe the hazard flasher switch?

I have a 1998 Ford Contour and my car will erratically shift gears?

Check engine light is on so AutoZone plugged it in and it said "Transmission Range sensor". I bought one but where do I put the new one in? IT IS A 6 CYL, NOT A 4 CYL. I saw a youtube video for changing a 4 cyl but not a 6. Is it in the same place? Same access to it?

How to increase the horsepower and torque on my 2005 Ford Thunderbird?

Well I was finally able to buy my dream car. A 2055 Ford Thunderbird which is fully loaded. It has 3.9L V8 that pushes out about 280HP. Well for a V8 we all know it can get much more than that. When I tested it out, it did a 6.4 second 0-60. I'm looking to increase the horse power to about 400. What should I have done to the car by a certified mechanic?
