1997 Ford Thunderbird Hazard flasher Issue?
The turn signals work fine but the hazard flashers don't work at all. Could the issue be within the flasher relay unit or could it be something else? Maybe the hazard flasher switch?
OKOK
Unlikely that it is the flasher relay as it has only one and it controls both the turn signals and the hazard lights. You could replace and see but I doubt that is the problem. May very well be the hazard switch is bad.
- Why is my 1997 Ford Thunderbird making a loud knocking noise as I? I bought a 97 ford Thunderbird not to long ago and it is starting to make a thumping like kknock. Sound like it is coming from under the car but only happens when I'm driving. I got an oil change n still hear the knocking why?
- What would cause an ignition coil to fail repeatedly on a 1997 Ford Thunderbird? The car has 65,000 miles on it and has received regular tune ups and oil changes but over the past year or so it leaves me stranded every 3 months or so leaving me to have it towed to the nearest mechanic--including the Ford Dealer once. Every time I'm told it was the ignition coil and it is replaced and the car runs fine for several weeks until the next incident.
- 1997 ford tbird and 1997 ford mustang parts? Can I use parts from a 97 4.6 mustang on my 97 4.6 third and can I use any suspension parts from a mustang
- 1968 Ford Mustang flasher isn't working? Brake lights work like normal, when you turn on either directions blinker that side lights up brighter but doesn't flash it just stays lit up. Does this old of a mustang have a flasher relay that can be replaced or is the "flashing" operated through the actual turn signal switch behind the steering wheel and the whole switch needs to be replaced?
