1968 Ford Mustang flasher isn't working?
Brake lights work like normal, when you turn on either directions blinker that side lights up brighter but doesn't flash it just stays lit up. Does this old of a mustang have a flasher relay that can be replaced or is the "flashing" operated through the actual turn signal switch behind the steering wheel and the whole switch needs to be replaced?
Yep, it has a contained relay on a circuit panel under the driver's dash, same as any other American car…
First replace the flasher 'can' probably $10

It's between the steering column and the windshield wiper motor, near the ashtray, or should be if the wiring harness is original.
Question is, why don't you have a manual? Get one!
HI face facts FORD flashers are so cheap replace the flasher unit for a few dollars.
- Why isn't my 1999 Ford Windstar heat not working? Last winter was pretty cold and I have been working to try fixing my heating problem. I took it to a shop and he said I'd have to take it to the dealer. My budget isn't that high so I replaced the blend door acuator myself and that didn't fix my problem. Not sure what to even try. - My gas gauge isn't working right? 2001 ford ranger 3.0 manual 2wd. My gas gauge is fluctuating but it doesn't really correlate to how much gas is in my tank. I'd say that it goes between 1/4 and 5/8 most of the time. What should i check? How do i check it? Is there anyway i can read the voltage on the sending unit to see if its good? I'm out of ideas
