I plan on getting a 1970 Ford F-100 and I wanted to ask if there's anything I need to know before getting this truck, how to keep it in good shape, and what are the necessities of owning this type of truck.

All its competitors, isuzu mux, trailblazer, ford everest, montero sport all have disc brakes on all four wheels. How on earth can toyota compete with that?
Added (1). The second gen Fortuner will still retain its ridiculous drum brakes while its second gen competitors have upgraded to discs…
I'm looking at getting a truck. I probably won't be getting one for a year or two but I thought I should just start learning about what's out there ahead of time. I really like the R:150 Raptor but I read the new one is going to have a base price of $50,000, that is a lot more than I want to spend, and the MPG is pretty bad (not that I was expecting it to be great, but it was lower then I previously heard). So unless those numbers change within a year I'm probably not going to get a Raptor at this point in my life. I like the 4runner/tacoma TRD PRO, and the MPG is a little better on those than the Raptor. I heard to new Colorado was good, but I know Chevy has had some problems in the past. But I guess Ford has to, so that doesn't really matter. I'de love some truck guys perspective on what truck/or SUV I should get.

How to permanently fix a vapor lock problem on my camper/rv? - 1
Added (1). it is a 1986 ford jamboree, the front end is a e-350 with a 460v8 and an auto trans. I'm going to replace the fuel pump to see if that works. It has a severe problem with vapor lock.
Added (2). it has an electric fuel pump back by the gas tank beside the fuel filter
Added (3). frankie, the brakes are fine, we just bought the camper and there are no twisty turny roads here. Also the camper won't drive faster than 50 without losing power and slowing down cutting out and backfiring with its vapor lock problem
Added (4). i don't have a problem with the brakes! It is the fuel delivery and vapor lock
I have a Ford Contour and I need to figure out the wiring guide for this type of radio to make it work in it, but I've searched all over and can't find a definitive answer.
I was hoping someone would have better luck than me and find me the wiring guide I need.
