I know people say the Ford Inline 6 is pretty much bullet proof. I have one with 212k Miles and looking to rebuild it when I get some cash. Would Forged internals increase Reliability or just power.
Now, if someone can give me a answer that'll make it more reliable and more power, well that's even better.
There's hissing sound when I turn on the engine coming somewhere under the. Car, I have cleaned the throttle body with no avail, the engine light is not on.
When I turn on the car I can hear the hissing sound coming from under the car, can't locate where the sound is coming from. Need help?!

2. When I'm stopped at a red light with car idling, the car starts vibrating as if it wants to shut off. I was told the problem was a sensor that's connected to the engine that keeps the engine revved at a steady pace while it's idle. Is that true?

I have a 1986 ford econoline 350 jamboree motorhome. It is 26 ft. Long and the weight on the title is 11,000lbs. I was wondering if my pickup which is a 1979 gmc sierra classic with full time 4x4 and a 400v8 with auto trans could pull in to town to a mechanic if the camper left me sit on the road. I thought it would save money over calling a tow truck

I'm getting my license this fall and have boiled my list of potential first cars down to two models. The first is a (used) Ford Crown Victoria Police interceptor, and the other being a 1998 Subaru Impreza RS (Outback sport is fine too). I have done the research on both models regarding insurance, reliability, and whatnot, but am really torn on what the wiser investment would be regarding the two. (Please no alternative answers like "just get a Honda Civic", I just want to know which one of these is a better choice).
I have a 1986 ford econoline 350 jamboree motorhome. It has a 460 v8 gas motor. The fuel pump isn't working. I checked with a test light and there's no power going to the pump. I checked the inertia switch under the dash and hit the reset button and used my test light on that and there's power going in and out of it, i used to my test light on the oil pressure switch and there's power going to that. The camper won't start and was having problems with vapor lock. I checked all the fuses and tried tracing the wire from the fuel pump but i'm not sure where it goes. I did have mice in the camper that could have chewed the wire but i would need a wiring diagram for my camper. If anyone has a wiring diagram of the fuel pump on my camper i would appreciate it. Would replacing the fuel pump fix the problem? I had the switch on when i checked all the wires with my test light.
