Overfilled oil by 3 quarts ford 4.6?

Took my merc to an unnamed national drive thru lube place and upon leaving noticed that the motor seemed labored on acceleration. When I got where i was going I checked the level and it was easily 2x above the "full" Mark on the dipstick. I couldn't get home to drain some and they wouldn't do it for me, so I ended up driving easily 30-40 miles with at least 2-3 extra qts.In the motor. It did not look foamy on the dipstick and no weird noises so i assume it's okay, I need to drain a little more still to make it the right level, do you think I avoided too much damage?

What's the working span of EGR Valve?

2011 Ford SUV seldom used (1 month in a year) only during summer vacations. The vehicle undergo annual preventive maintenance. Low mileage.
2014 April sent for repairs after collision
2016 February returned to us after repairs (check engine light on appeared right away when they turned over the vehicle to us) they advised us to see if it still comes on
2017 April clicking soun heard, mechanics said the EGR Valve needs replacement.

How is this possible when we barely use the vehicle?

What do I need to tow a 16000 lb 5th wheel trailer?

I'm in the market for a truck, considering new and used, all "American" brands such as Ford GM and Mopar, and need it to be able to tow around 16,000 lbs which is the weight of the camper I'm looking at plus the stuff I'd keep in it, max of probably 16,200… I know I don't want to be maxing out the trucks capabilities, I'd like at least a 20 percent cushion, preferably 30 percent with how frequently I'll be towing. I know I'll need a HD truck as I've been told a 1500 can't handle a 5th wheel, and I'd prefer a diesel for the reliability, performance, and efficiency… I'm wondering if a second gen cummins could handle this, the 3500 quad cab dually, or if I'd have to look at the duramax LBZ dually or even the 09-now cummins dually or duramax LBL dually… I'm looking at the srw versions too, but from what I've heard drw is better for towing large loads. I'd prefer used, like 90's and early 00's so I wouldn't have a payment, or less than 10 years old so I can get a loan with a decent interest rate, probably 2 to 5 years old, but I'd consider new for the warranty and low interest rate as well… Must be a 4 door or extended cab, and must be able to tow up and down hill with 16,000 lbs at 55 plus mph, hopefully 70 plus mph on slight inclines and flat ground without trouble.

Rough idle '95 Ford 460, distributor & fuel injected, ideas?

It's a Ford 460 engine. It's a seldom-used camper. Sometimes it bogs down and nearly stalls but it randomly misses on cylinders at all rpm's. I've changed out and examined all the usual suspects. One clue is that the vacuum pressure coming from the upper intake manifold seems very strong, rattles the crap out of the (brand new) PCV valve, and when I disconnect this vacuum connection partially at the intake manifold (plenum) it idles up, sounds better, but still skips cylinders yet you could drive it. The vacuum connection is a T connector and I will follow the other line direction under the vehicle next.

I have replaced/checked all the following:
Air & fuel filters, oil.
Fuses and relays.
Ignition Control Module***
Plugs, wires, coil, distributor.
Voltage regulator, alternator pigtail.
Alternator tested OK with the old regulator.
10uf, 63V capacitor in the PCM.
Replaced cracked vacuum lines.
Replaced mashed EGR valve gasket.
EGR valve not sticking but,
the connector reads no volts.
MAP sensor.
No MAF sensor on this model.
Fuel pressure regulator.
Ran Lucas injector cleaner.
Cleaned every electrical connection,
ground wires especially.
No sabotaged oil or gas.
thermostat, lower intake manifold

*** Ignition Control Module replacement is gray instead of black. Not right?

Why does the Ford Transit Connect have such lousy towing capacity?

This is the vehicle some have been promoting as the latest midsize van (like the Ford Aerostar and the Chevy Astro/GMC Safari.) It's midsize (supposedly between a minivan and a full size van.) It's also the only midsized van in the USA that is being offered as a passenger van (there are others built by Nissan, Dodge and Chevy but are only cargo vans.)

But unlike the Chevy Astro and other midsized vans the Ford Transit Connect has only a 2,000lb tow capacity (compared to 5,000lb in an Astro.) Why?

And why did they make the rear seat only hold two people so that it's only a 7 passenger van? (many Astros had eight seats.)

Added (1). And why does the Transit Connect only come in 2WD? The Astros came both in 2WD and AWD versions.

I guess my question is why someone doesn't make a practical midsized van? Something you can take your family out on a camping trip with a modest camping trailer without having to own a full sized 12-15 passenger van or several vehicles for one single purpose?

How long for a dealership trade?

I'm wanting to trade in my lease for another lease. For my first two leases, I was not picky with the color and took what the dealership had in stock. This time, I decided to get the color I wanted, even though it wasn't in stock. The dealership (it is a Ford dealership if that makes a difference) has one on order, but it is not expected in until mid-may. I'm over in milage and would like to cut it down since I'm just going to pay off the milage, so they said they would just do a dealer trade with another dealership for the car I want. I was told I would get a call back on Monday with the progress, which is fine, but out of curiosity since I have never done this, typically how long does it take? Has anyone had any experiences with a dealership swap through Ford before?

Why does my 1965 Mercury Comet overheat perpetually?

I drive a 1965 mercury comet with a Ford 127 HP online six. I replaced the radiator and the water pump, and put in a thermostat, but the thermosat is for racing and is rated for 180 F, my engine is supposed to have 160 F. Any given time I'm driving my car runs dangerously hot/overheats after about 1/2 and radiator fluid levels are normal, no leaks. Could the thermostat be the issue?
