My 2011 Ford Transit Connect randomly shifts hard to the right or left. What should I do?

I just got through my first phone interview with Verizon Wireless, and the lady on the phone told me that she would like to schedule an interview with the general manager in my city (Asheville, NC). She said the only thing holding me back is my verifiable education. I home schooled in Texas, and graduated in 2011. My mother made me a high school diploma, but it is not from any verifiable institution. Texas Law does not require that Homeschooling families have accredited, or certified High school diplomas for homeschooling families. The main requirement is that they sign it.

My question is, since they are doing a background check that includes verifying my education, and the lady over the phone told me that in essence, a signed paper by my mother wouldn t do, how else can I prove that I graduated? Texas law didn't require this? I really want the job, but I'm kinda at a loss here… I believe in employers rights to hire who they want, but this seems sort of like a discrimination of home-schoolers. There has to be some sort of misunderstanding. I'm sure there are some home-schoolers who don't have a certifiable institution behind their diploma, who also work the retail side of Verizon Wireless.
