Warranty voided due to "abuse" for racing on track. Wondering if I could trade in the mustang to a different dealership such as "Toyota" as an example and get a different vehicle… I was told I could only sell the car "as is" for a ridiculously low amount by Ford.
I bought a 2004 ford mustang 40th anniversary running great but the power steering fluid is gone bad when i spin the steering wheel i hear a fairly loud whining sound so ill change the steering fluid to see if it helps.
The problem is that the car does not have a manual in the little space trunk on the passenger side so i've been looking for one on the internet but can't find the exact one, can anyone tell me what power steering fluid i need to use that would work great i have one but it just shows auto zone steering fluid so i guess its a not so good one.
Any exact suggestion what fluid my car needs thank you.

I'm 15 and looking to buy my first car for under 5000. I'm totally into classic cars like mustangs and camaros. I was going to buy a 1966 ford mustang coupe with my dad for a project car, but I figured it would be too expensive and it would take too long. Can someone please explain the difference between the 2002, 2002 ti, and 2002 tii please? Also could you let me know how much to spend on each car (most likely buying from ebay and I don't want to get ripped off. Thanks). P.S. I have a 2004 Ford Mustang gt. It has the 4.6 sohc and the vin digit is X. The motor I have is a 4.6 out of a 2004 ford crown Vic police interceptor. But the vin digit is a w. Will this work with my car? I can't get a straight answer and salvage yards don't know the answer
So I have a 2011 Ford mustang v6 and when I turn it on it says "mykey active drive safely" does that mean that it has something blocked and that's why it's active? I tried to reset the mykey but no mykey option shows up… I put it in on and pressed and held the setup button but no msg of set up mykey comes up. I was playing around with the car and wound up with the system check and one of the checks was " 2 mykeys active, 1 master key" I have 2 keys.
Okay so I've been noticing this for a while. It's a 2003 Ford Mustang Base Couple V6 3.8L and I was sitting in the car waiting for my mom. I was looking at the dial thingy that says RPMx1000 and the dial moves a little even though I'm not touching the pedal and the car is idling. It goes a tiny bit over 1 and makes a noise under the hood for a couple of seconds then stops and goes a little below 1. Also, I don't think this is the case but when I started my car yesterday, I was sitting there for a minute or so and I heard a BOOM under the hood of the car from inside the car and I felt it. It sounded like a person was under the hood and punched it really hard or something. Not sure if this relates to the issue. Anyways, does anyone know what this is or is it normal?

Okay, so I have a 2003 Ford Mustang that started making a pinging popping noise whenever I turned. I took it to the mechanic and he said that my struts and shocks are bad, I need a new power steering pump and I need my fluid flushed. Then he said something about links but I wasn't paying attention because I was overwhelmed with the costs of repairs. What are links? There's probably all different kinds and I don't know which one. I want my friend to do the job for me so that I can order the parts but what does he mean by new links?
