BMW 2002 ti, 2002, 2002 tii for first car?
I'm 15 and looking to buy my first car for under 5000. I'm totally into classic cars like mustangs and camaros. I was going to buy a 1966 ford mustang coupe with my dad for a project car, but I figured it would be too expensive and it would take too long. Can someone please explain the difference between the 2002, 2002 ti, and 2002 tii please? Also could you let me know how much to spend on each car (most likely buying from ebay and I don't want to get ripped off. Thanks). P.S. I have wanted this car for over 4 years now, so my mind is set. Thanks
Added (1). Also: I'm a car guy. I absolutely love cars and I know a lot about them.

Thanks A mustang is going to be cheaper to maintain and parts are going to be much easier to find/cheaper than a 2002, especially a 2002tii. The old roundies suffer from rust issues pretty much everywhere in the lower extremities and while you can find running examples for under $5000, you will be hard pressed to find a clean and well maintained one in that range. I've seen a few tii for around $5000 that were really solid and complete, but they needed a reasonable amount of work to make them daily-able.
The other caution I'd have as a European car enthusiast is that kids are stupid. You may be a very responsible driver but the other kids in the school's parking lot? Not so much. It is very difficult owning a classic car and keeping it pristine if you don't have a garage and have to drive it everywhere. Be careful and take care of one if you find the right car. Good luck! As far as the differences with the 2002s, the ti version had dual carbs and about 18 extra ponies. The tii switched to fuel injection.

- 2005 Bmw 745i worth getting? There's a 2005 Bmw 745i for sale at a dealership for 11k. Its a V8 engine and wastes a lot of gas I assume. I need a car for me and my girlfriend and my baby boy since I just sold my old rusty 1992 Ford Taurus. The car has more than 100,000 miles on it. I'm not looking into leasing a newer model car because I do not want to pay a lot of money. So my question is, if you were in my situation would you lease it? And how much would you put down for a deposit?
- 2012 mustang gt vs 2009 bmw 335i coupe for insurance and reliability? I'm am wondering what would be cheaper on insurance but most off all what would be the most reliable please no bias, although i'm a ford fan boy you can't argue with a bmw but i hear they arnt to reliable being twin turbo v6, and also because if they arnt reliable i don't want to be stuck with expensive a## parts to buy… I'm 19 with a clean driving record
- 2002 Honda Civic or 2002 Ford Mustang as first car? I'm debating on getting a Civic with nearly 30 mpg or a Mustang with nearly 20 mpg, and I also live in Indiana where we get around a foot of snow every year.
- 2002 Ford Mustang GT for a first car? What do you guys think? I want a "nice" car and a manual, (I drive my moms automatic around fine, no tickets, always following speed limit etc), for a first car do you think it would be fine be fine? Their cheep and look nice for a start. Give me you opinion or suggestions. I know how to drive a stick shift.
