Poured a tin of Wynn's Engine Stop Leak into a Ford Focus ST?
And now the radiator is hot, very HOT, usually in cold weather I drive around full temp on the highest fan speed and its fine, after pouring this in the engine, it was on 24.5 on fan speed 3 and it was damn hot, couldn't take it.
What's happened.
What is that 24.5? Celcius?
Isn't normal 100 C?
Sounds like your stop leak intermingled with some residential crud and blocked a port or the radiator. You "F-ed" up your motor putting a stupid stop leak product in it. Nice playing mechanic? You probably now have a plugged radiator, heater core and the thermostat is going to also need replacing. Seems fine to me now, had to drive it hard up and down the motorway. If it was "f-ed" i'm sure there wouldn't be ice cold air coming out of it when you lower the temp… So much for mitsubishi techs.

- My radio won't stop scanning, doesn't stop on any station, why? It's a stock 93 Ford Taurus radio, only am fm and cassette, cassettes work but I don't want to use. How can I get my radio to work again? My antennae was loose but I tightened it but it still won't work!
- I have a 2000 ford Taurus station and can't put it into gear.why can't I put it into gear? I have a 2000 ford Taurus station and can't put it into gear. Why can't I put it into gear?
- Should I use lucas transmission stop leak? I have a 1978 Ford ranchero that has a couple minor leaks in the tranny and I was wondering if it's safe to use this lucas stuff on my tranny?
- My 2000 Ford Windstar has a coolant leak. What could be causing it to leak? It has two leaks. One is from the passenger side near the front tire and the second is right below the driver's seat. I have to replace the coolant after I have had the heater on for a bit. I never have it on for more than 15 min. Not because the coolant runs out in that time but I just don't use it for long. I took it to the mechanic and he stated it was the "lower intake manifold gasket". I'm asking if anyone has any other ideas because that repair is pretty pricey.
