Oil change for 2013 ford focus st?
My mechanique did a oil change, on my 2013 focus st. He used full synthetic oil 5-30w penzoil, I belive thats the brand he used not sure. He used 7 litters of full synthetic oil 5-30w, I was shocked for a 2.0 liter turbo? I thought full was 5.4 litters on manuel book but I noticed the manuel book is just for a regular focus. I also noticed focus st is a pretty big engine for a 2.0 litter turbo. Anyways is this the full capacity for oil change on focus st?
It will say in your manual. I would be concerned if I were you, that's a lot for such a small engine. Check your dipstick and make sure the level is not too high.
Did you check the oil level or did he just charge you for 7? If he put 7 in you would notice all kinds of odd happenings
5.4L liters is the correct amount for the Focus ST. If he put 7 liters in, then he's incompetent. Check the oil level yourself. If it's way above the full mark, then you're going to need to have some oil taken out. If it's full then your mechanic probably just ripped you off.

- Oil change on my ford focus! Big proublem? So i was changing the oil on my 2007 for focus today. Took oil out everything good. Took off old filter everything good. BUT! When i was putting the bolt back on the motor to add the new oil, i over tightened the bolt so it just kept spining! Turns out some of the tread from inside the motor came out in the bolt when i took it out. Now it does not tighten good. It does a little but not all the way. What can i do now?
