You have ZERO chance of correctly replacing it (assuming that's why you're asking) if you can't even FIND it! Just take it to the nearest Ford dealer and get the $20 oil change (the coupon, if needed, is on the website). That way, it'll be done properly. You WILL screw it up it you attempt this task.

- Car leaking oil, not sure if its from oil filter or transmission? So I have a 1998 Ford windstar that broke down because the transmission just basically gave up on it. Anyway, before it broke down we gave it an oil change and it wasn't leaking any oil. After the transmission gave up, a couple months afterwards, it starts to leak oil. Could this be from the transmission or the oil filter? By the way, I know absolutely nothing about cars.
