How to lock the doors of a ford fiesta finesse 2002 from the inside?

Just bought a ford fiesta finesse 2002 and it doesn't seem to lock from the inside… Well not that I'm aware of. Can anyone help?

Most likely push inwards this was Fords design on earlier models. But as already said lock from the outside and look for a difference. If not it's a button to centrally lock /unlock all doors. Usually on the drivers side.

What happens when you lock from the outside? Do the door handles move on the inside? I don't know about Fords, but with my Fiat, you pull the door handle to open, but once closed, push to lock the door from the inside.

Not all cars have a central locking button inside - on yours you need to operate something on the doors themselves
DR+ Mrs Bears face= yet another long winded unhelpful wrong answer

I reckon on a Fiesta there's either a lever on the inner door handle you move, or there's s button somewhere on the dash to lock the doors if it's got central locking.
Did it not come with a handbook?

Hi locking yourself inside a car is extremely dangerous in case of accidents. So some cars are designed not to allow it to happen.
also this accounts for 99% of people who manage to lock themselves out of a car. With the keys still in the car. The need it opened by some one with knowledge usually a car thief.
as a ford fiesta is one of the most taken and the one most females lock themselves out of.
that is why it might not have this facility.
