- I have a 98 manual 4.2 v6 f150. The truck is in great condition and I don't want to sell it? The engine is on it's last legs and I was wondering if it would be worth swapping the engine with a new ecoboost v8 and switching to an automatic transmission. Any advice? Preferably from people who are familiar with Fords.
- I have a 1976 Ford F150 with a 390 engine. Can anyone tell me what the spark plug gap should be? Don't answer if you don't know. And don't answer if you are just trying to be a wise guy.
- How much power gain should be expected from a h.e. Coil replacement, spark plug replacement and fuel injector replacement. Ford F-150 5.0 13? All parts being swapped from factory to performance upgrades. Wondering what you guys think will be gained from these modifications on a 2013 Ford F-150 single cab coyote 5.0 . Runs a 7.0 0-60 currently
- 1999 ford f150 v6 rough idle and spark plug questipn? My 99 Ford f150 is a v6 and I'm having a rough idea or a miss while my foots on the brake and its in gear it idles like it wants to die. I just noticed the 3 plug wired on the passenger side were burnt so I imagine its spark knocking. But my question is what plugs should I use and is this my only problem causing the rough idle? But should I go with e3s?
