Car won't start and multiple lights on?

I have a 2008 ford explorer I recently had my transmission, brakes, shocks and struts and oil done. My car has a red battery light a yellow transmission and a red oil can picture. I turn my key and I get a fast clicking sound. What should I do. Sounds like my battery but after going to 3 places to have these things done nobody gave me a heads up?

I just bought a used car. How can I maintain it?

I saved up for 3 months by working at my first job and now I just bought a car!

It was $1200 for the car and $600 for the tag, title, and insurance.

On the title, we clearly deemed the mileage on the odemeter to be 174,000. (roundabout).

However, now that the car is mine and I'm driving it on the roads… I can clearly see that the odometer reads 274,000… (roundabout
Naturally, I'm a bit concerned about that so I want to do my best to keep this car in the good condition that it still is for being a '92 Ford Explorer.
I'm interested in doing everything I can to keep it alive and well for as long as possible.

I'm kinda looking for maybe a list I can print out and familiarize myself with so I can get into a routine.

Oh, and one more thing… Is the odometer measuring miles driven or another unit? Because I reset the TRIP Odometer and it's 4 digits… It says "0085" already… The 5 at the end will become a 6 in like a minute of driving… If I'm going like 35.

It must be measuring something else? I stayed within the boundaries of my city and I got this car this morning. There's no way I already drove it 85 miles!

Back to the original question…

Can someone give me an in-depth answer?

For example: Don't just say "Change the filters and fluids!" because I don't even know what filters and fluids there are to change!

Try to be as specific as possible please… And thank you!

The best answer will get some points!

2002 Ford Explorer door problem?

My mother's 2002 Ford Explorer (4 door) started acting funny a while back. At first, the rear driver's side window stopped working. Thankfully, it was in the up position. Since she never used it, she said it didn't matter. Then, the alarm would go off randomly, when she locked it and left it. No one was around and no one could find the cause. She just stopped locking it. Then, a month ago, the rear driver's side door "jammed" shut. OK, still no problem. It was when the alarm started going off and the doors started locking and unlocking, in motion, that she started to complain seriously. In fact, it go so bad that her trip to town was nothing but the alarm (dinging about every second) going off. You couldn't hear the radio or anything else because it was so loud. There was no way to stop it and the shop was closed. So, I decided to take a look at it. Since the door was part of the problem, I decided to try and get it open and look at it. However, the door looked fine. The handles worked, no clips missing, no springs, nada. I could find no reason for the door to be jammed shut. No dents, rust, or anything. It looked perfect. The action clicked from all door remote units.
I used the OBDIII to check for problems and nothing. But, it was fixed.
So, any idea why this happened? I actually did nothing to fix this. Who knows, maybe this will help someone else with the same problem, even if I don't get an answer. LOL.

If a cop said he was going to get my car towed when will that happen?

If a cop said he was going to get my car towed when will that happen? - 1

Added (1). I have a broken down ford explorer parked outside of my apartment and a cop came by last night while I was at work and told my room mate that it was going to be towed because I have it just resting on wooden logs and it was a danger hazard or something because of that. What I need to know is how much time I have before I can expect It to be towed away?

Why will this vehicle not start?

Alright. Vehicle is a 93 Ford Explorer. Radio, lights, etc. All working fine when key is to ON. When the car is to start, all we hear is a click. We've pushed to start and that's worked half the time. Cleaned up the battery terminals.

Battery gets 12.6V standing and 11V when trying to start. Had starter checked twice, worked. Replaced fender-mounted solenoid. Tried bridging the solenoid, same click. Got 11.2V on the starter solenoid terminal ('always hot') when not starting.

Headlights don't noticeably dim. Couldn't jump-start, either.
Thanks

Added (1). That could be. I wonder why we still get 11.2V, though. When starting, the current between the "always hot" and only-cranking terminals zeroes out. (I'm thinking that the current was flowing properly between those two. Either that, or starting actually turned it off.) Didn't test the third.

What happens if you use the same bottle you put gas in to put water in your radiator?

I accidentally used the same bottle I put gas in to put water in my 99 Ford Explorer radiator and now it's been over heating non stop, I'm on the side of the highway now. The water comes out brown and gooey and I bought Prestone Flush+Cleaner, twice I followed the steps and it still overheats and the brown gooey stuff, oh yea and I'm not sure if this is bad but there's white smoke coming out of the exhaust
