How should I get rid of my car that needs a new engine?

I have 2003 Ford Escape that has about 83,000 miles on it. It still starts but it needs a new engine. I'm not going to repair it. I'd like to get something out of this car but I know junk yards will only give you about $300 and the tires are worth more than that so I wonder what the best options is. Can anyone advise me on the best way to proceed?

You barely do one things sell it at a garage. Then on return money buy a young automobile. I think this is the best method. Otherwise, search for quality auto repair service center, which can make your car at the new stage.

You could donate it to a charity and get bluebook value as a tax write off when you file your 2014 taxes. You could sell it on craigslist but be honest about the engine. You could part it out on craigslist and realize more money too.

You could donate it to a charity and take a deduction on your taxes or you will have to sell it part by part.

  • How to get rid of my car without a title, but with the registration in my name? I have a 1998 Ford Taurus. The whole purchase in 2006 was a little shady, and I never acquired the title. Furthermore, the title has a lien on it. I bought it off the street from some guy and I never got the title from him (What was I thinking, yes I know). Long story short, no one has ever claimed it since 2006, I've had it since, and I want to get absolutely rid of it now, and I don't know what to do. Any ideas?
  • Can i get out of a ford lease early? Or get a new car early? After my 2004 GTO broke down, i was forced to lease a 2014 Focus, for 3 years and had to get extended miles. Its been about 5 months since i've had the car and so far i hate it. Slow, cheaply made, stereo is terrible, no traction in winter, i don't like it at all. Is there any chance of getting out of the lease early or turning it in without hurting my credit, or even turning it in to lease a different car. Possibly a truck or taurus. Has anyone else been in this situation?
  • How do i get rid of weed smell on my car seats? I recently purchased my first car and the car is perfect but the seats reek of cigarettes and weed and I would like to shampoo it but I simply don't have the time to do it or the money to pay someone to do it. Plus it's embarrassing when I have people ride with me. Is there a spray or something I could use to rid my seats of that odor that's affordable and not time consuming? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
  • Do you think the Brand New Ford ranger needs more engine options? I think the 2.3 Ecoboost is very capable, but in many cases, stronger engines distinguish more premium (or) sportier trims from the Base trim. Do you feel that higher priced trims need a V6 to compete against others in the segment?
