Can i get out of a ford lease early? Or get a new car early?

After my 2004 GTO broke down, i was forced to lease a 2014 Focus, for 3 years and had to get extended miles. Its been about 5 months since i've had the car and so far i hate it. Slow, cheaply made, stereo is terrible, no traction in winter, i don't like it at all. Is there any chance of getting out of the lease early or turning it in without hurting my credit, or even turning it in to lease a different car. Possibly a truck or taurus. Has anyone else been in this situation?

Read your contract on early termination

Not with out loosing more money!

If you leased your Focus through Ford Credit, you can turn it in early. However, you'll still be responsible for all of the remaining payments, plus an early termination fee (it was $495.00 at the time I leased my Fusion, might be higher now). You received the terms of your lease when you signed the paperwork.

Most dealers will be all too happy to buy you out of the lease and into a purchase loan on a new car, regardless of marque. But you won't save any money by doing it.

You can turn it back in, however it will negatively effect your credit.

  • What are my options when my car lease is up? I leased a car through ford for 2 years. It has been a year now and I'm looking into my options for when it is up. I would like to get a new truck so can I take my leased car to a different dealership and trade it in as a trade in? If not what are my options
  • How can I get out of my truck lease? My situation has changed and my budget can't really afford the $400 per month. Its a 2016 Nissan Frontier. About 15k miles on it. Lease is up around Nov 2019. (12k miles per year. A maintenance plan is included in the payment. Do sites like swapalease actually work to get someone else to take your lease over?
  • Can I get a lease on a ford taurus? I was wondering if I could lease a taurus or fusion or something. I want something around the 2000-5000 dollar per year price range (don't feel like going 5000 a year though). Just something to get me through one year of school. I don't want a crummy 1.6 liter engine with 140 horsepower, I want something like a manual transmission v6 with 200-250 hp or something higher than 170 without getting too pricy.
  • Can a police officer buy a brand new unmarked police car with out his department's Do Dodge and Ford sell their unmarked police cars to individual police officers if the officers directly contact Dodge or Ford? Or do they only sell their unmarked police cars directly to police departments? Happy Gramps You are wrong. Dodge and Ford have their factory equipped Charger and Ford Interceptor (Taurus) models with police packages
