Performance chip for Ford?

Where can i get/how to install a chip for a 1996 Ford F-250? Thanks

Hi it is highly unlikely anyone would produce such a chip on such an old truck.

You can get piggyback chip for the ECC-IV module. If you have gas engine (351W or 460) then it's not going to be worth it. If you have a Powerstroke then you can see some impressive gains.

  • Lost my only key to my car. It's an 02 ford taurus station wagon and has a chip in the key? Ordered and blank key. Going to get it cut then have it programmed. I have an extra key that will unlock my doors but won't start the car because it doesn't have a chip and isn't programmed for my car. Can I use my key that unlocks the door to get it cut and then use my vin to have them program it?

  • Will high performance spark plugs have any benefit in a non performance car? To start I have a 2002 Ford Focus ZTS with 150000 miles on it. It needs new spark-plugs, and the only two types the store has that fit my car are Autolite Platinum and Bosch Platinum IR Fusion. My question is for my car, is there any advantage to spending the extra 14$ to get the higher end spark plugs or would it just be a waste of cash?
