I'm looking to get a 2009 F250 with 139,000 miles on it is it a good buy?
I'm 21 and it will be my first vehicle and i don't know too much about diesels. It is a 2009 Ford Super Duty F-250 Lariat Power Stroke Diesel 4X4 with 139,000 miles for $30,000. What would be the average MPG, what is the break-in mileage, what is the average mileage and what is high mileage? A lot of questions i know but like i said i don't know anything about diesels and i just want to make sure it is a good buy.
That is huge mileage. The usual mileage per year is about 12,000 miles per year. A working vehicle might put on more, but would then be worth less money as a result.
So, an 09 vehicle with the usual mileage should have around 72,000 or so miles. Your candidate vehicle is close to double that. Not a good choice, as it's likely to need a lot of fixing sooner rather than later.
I wouldn't pay $30k for anything with 139k on it.
That seems like a lot of money for a used truck with 139,000 miles on it. Unless you are planning on doing a lot of towing you might want to consider a gas engine. Diesels get better fuel mileage than gas vehicles but Diesel fuel is almost a dollar a gallon more than regular gas.
Wow. $30K for a 2009 vehicle with 139K miles. Seems a bit high to me. Does this thing have gold plated rims or what?
- I'm looking to buy a 2002 Ford Mustang (automatic with 180k miles), are there any problems with it? Is it a good car to own? - 1 Everything checks out with the car, the engine works great, transmission is good, and my uncle (a former mechanic) says its in great shape and good for its price. A friend of mine told me that older Ford Mustangs have alot of problems and the car isn't worth it. Is this true? I've searched for hours and haven't found any information validating my friend s claim. Maybe someone who has owned the car or has worked on it has a better opinion for me. Any input would be helpful.
- I'm in high school and about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car So far I have looked into ford mustangs, I have a choice between a 2007 ford mustang gt with a 8 cylinder motor with automatic transmission, or I can get a 2013 mustang v6. My question is which of the two cars is a faster and louder car cause I would like to show it off and have heads turn by its engine as I drive off on the street. Thank you very much about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car?
- Do you think buying a 2000 ford focus with 161,000 miles a good car purchase? For 1,000? I'm wondering if anyone will recommend, a 2000 ford focuse with 161,000 mileage as my first car, I recently got my drivers permit I want a car to practice my driving skills and I stubbled into the 2000 ford focus.
- Is a 2011 Ford Escape XLT with 155,000 miles on it a good used car to buy? The asking price is? $9,300 cash. Looking for a car that safe, reliable, won't flip when turning on sharp curves, upcoming and maintenance fairly inexperience, and will last a long time. The one thing that I'm weary about with this high is that the miles are extremely high for a 2011.
