Fuel pump for my 1994 ford Bronco 5.8?
So I need a new fuel pump for my 1994 bronco. Any advice on where to get one from and which one to get? (I've been searching on rock auto, and there are so many different kinds I couldn't begin to know which one to use)
I would use the TYC complete unit if it were mine.
Replacing the fuel pump is not a 10 minute job, so put a quality one in there. Of the R A choices, Carter or Spectra Premium for just the pump, Delphi or Denso for the pump assembly.
Spend some money and get a Walbro.
If you can Get a motorcraft part. Since your dropping the tank do not scrimp on the cost Motorcraft is the best bet
- Location of 1998 Ford Taurus fuel pump. Does it have a fuel cut-off switch? Car shut down suddenyl without warning. New battery and cranks but will not start. Suspect bad fuel filter, 130K miles and fuel filter has never been replaced.
- My 1999 ford ranger has 20 lbs of pressure on the fuel line. Do i need a fuel pump? After I tested the pressure and shut the motor off the pressure went down to 0 quick. When I just turn the key I don't get any pressure

- Why does my 1994 Ford Bronco start intermittently? Sometimes when I start my 1994 Ford Bronco, I hear the fuel pump run for about five seconds and stop. The truck starts right up. Other times when I go to start it the fuel pump never shuts off and runs continuously, and the truck will not start, Weather doesn't seem to affect it. Any Ideas?
