Location of 1998 Ford Taurus fuel pump. Does it have a fuel cut-off switch?
Car shut down suddenyl without warning. New battery and cranks but will not start. Suspect bad fuel filter, 130K miles and fuel filter has never been replaced.

you can't change it after the fact… The fuel pump is down inside the gas tank. It has a fuel pump cut-off switch mounted way up front, in case you're in a wreck. Ford cut-off switches are usually in the trunk. To check the fuel pump, first make the shut-off is reset, then cycle the ignition on and off and have someone listen for a buzzing noise at the back of the car. If not have it diagnosed. The pump is in the gas tank and is a pain to get at, but other things can shut it down.

- Can't for the life of me locate my fuel cut of switch Ford focus 2009? I have looked online… It's just not where all the diagrams are saying. It's a Ford focus 2009 2.0tdci zetec. The online manual says being a panel in drivers foot well. I have took the whole panel off and off the passengers side too. Can't locate it at all. Is there a variant of my car Where it's located in a different place?!
- 2006 Ford Focus fuel pump driver location? My focus will not start, has no fuel pressure and fuel pump not working at all. Have replaced the fuel pump with a tested one and still not working. Have also tested the old one and it is also ok. The fuel gauge works ok, but fuel pump is not kicking in at all. All fuses are ok and have changed our relay also. Does anyone know where the fuel pump driver module is located please?

- I have a ford explorer sport trac 2003. Todat when I was driving the radio cut of and then cut back on? Then the radio won't come back on at all. I got to the light and the car slowed down I was able to coast it to a save place and park it. Then when I tried to start it up it didn't this click click click sound. What could this be. The battery is about five years old. Is it the battery or the starter?
